This is pretty true, I also sell part of my traffic to brokers, usually the part I am not able to convert and dont want to spend hours on figuring out how to monetize it :)

Its just like selling a car that starts to break down - you could repair it on your own and MAYBE drive it for some more time, but you sell it so someone else deals with the hassle. Of course the new owner usually realizes he got fucked, but there are some who are lucky enough to find a solution quickly and with low expenses and enjoy the good buy for months or years to come :)
