Btw MasturbateFun I'm just teasing so hopefully you don't take it personally. There's nothing wrong with being a fan, of Mac or most anything else. I'm a fan of the Denver Broncos myself. Fandom is bad only when it leads us to keep making silly choices on stuff that actually matters. It's cool to be a fan of Mac, Windows, Linux, or Android. Fandom, unthinking support, for Bush or Obama is when it staets to matter a little bit.

I got one of those cheap chinese knock off androids and I have to say that other than a battery life of about 15 minutes, it does what I need it to do. I just wish there was an ICQ app for it other than the one it has which sucks. I used it once and never used it again

The North American versions of the Tab were sold with the phone features disabled but it is a simple process to flash and enable it. I did it in a few minutes after reading the XDA thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=838250 |

I've only had my iPad for a few days now.
I have yet to realize its full potential. Maybe I'll use it a lot, maybe it'll become a paperweight. |
Which tablet you use?
|
Chris, get Splashtop or Jump Desktop for the ipad and you will use it a ton more.
I love my ipad and the fact that I can be in bed and still work on my main computer is awesome. My wife doesn't like it when I do that, but its great. I bring my ipad everywhere, and if an issue comes up that can't be solved from my iphone, I jump on the ipad and handle it. Also, no need for the 3g version, I just tether the signal to my iphone if I am on the go and there is no wifi available. |
Very close to getting a Kindle Fire.
|
I have an iPad 2. I love it. It sits on my sofa just waiting for me to check some stuff. My fiancee uses it more than I do tho, most times I have to grab my laptop as she is using the iPad.
|
it gave me a headache so I sold it
|
I was not going to buy a tablet unless they reached a certain price and i got mine for below $150 I still got some things to do to it before i am completely happy with it like figure out how to root it , but i am sure i will get that done soon ...

I did not buy any tablet (I thought you were talking about pills)
|
I thought it was asking how many people bought a tablet of some kind, yet everyone posts spamming about their ipads... and ipad is an ipad, not a tablet, I have the acer, only $400. at walmart, outperforms all ipads on every level, I can use memory sticks, usb, plug it into any computer and load whatever movies, mp3's pics whatever I want without having to go through registering it or using some bs program "itunes".
any parent giving their children a apple product is just limiting their potential of learning, you can only do what apple lets you do. on a pc there are no limits... apple is good for what it was made for, people who browse the net and check emails... |

I'm very curious though. Thanks |
I can't really see the point in them.. other than if you read a lot of books and get something like a kindle.
If you want to carry one around you will have to carry some sort of bag and if you do that, you might as well carry a laptop. JMO. |

people would steal a tablet pc so quick here... they literally rob/kill people for iphones. gotta buy big clunky electronics that are too hard to lug around. anything portable is a goner

I bought a tablet that ran on the Android OS earlier this year and was disappointed with it. I sold it on Ebay 3 months after I purchased it. The Ipad is a much better product. I think that apple holds its app developers to a higher standard than you get with Android apps. 25% of the apps that I tried to run on my Android tablet caused it to lock up and require a reboot. I have never had that problem with an app on my Ipad or Iphone. :2 cents:
