This thread has shown how far off the rails the average American is. They enlisted. They knew where they were going and who they would be fighting. OR at least the general area. The military runs on discipline. So they need to have consequences, and they need to do it right away.

Couldn't really say why the guys in the video felt like they needed to do that since I have never been in a war but my grandfather had some interesting stories from WW2 and my father had some very interesting stories from Vietnam...all which make this "pissing on dead bodies" look like nothing.

My departed Grandfather fought against the Japanese and he had some stories to tell. He said the Japanese soldier was not big on surrendering but that there would have been more Japanese POW's then there were...but for American soldiers not taking them prisoners and preferred to kill them. He told several stories along this line.

He also had some stories to tell about what American soldiers did to some of the Japanese that were taken prisoner. One story was that a Japanese prisoner...who was naked (they made surrendering Japanese strip naked)...was being poked by several soldiers with fixed bayonets...and was covered with blood. A Major came by and saw what was going on and said either kill the son of a bitch or leave him alone. They killed him by gutting him. I asked him why the Major did not give them a direct order to stop torturing him and he said the Major was probably afraid that the men would turn their rage on him.

He of course also had stories about Japanese atrocities carried out against American soldiers and one of them was about a group of American soldiers whose position had been over run and when the American soldiers retook the position they found the soldiers with their hands tied behind their backs with barbed wire and their heads had been cut off.

PF had stories to tell about what American soldiers did to the VC in Vietnam and what the VC did to American soldiers.

Pissing on dead enemy is a very tame action compared to shit that has taken place and does take place.

IMHO i would rather someone punch a 9mm (or 5.56 depending on nationality) hole in my head and kill me, wipe me from this world terminating from me all existance.
