While it was a disgusting act and not worthy of a U.S. Marine - Bush/Cheney murdered how many without being punished?

The Marines showed poor judgement. To win hearts and minds the West must demonstrate a higher standard. This isn't the way to do it. They potentially put other troops in further jeopardy by their actions.

What's your point? That under the Geneva Convention it's okay to piss on dead bodies? Because it's not.

Or maybe you simply didn't understand my post?

Considering you even think I meant it was okay to do so shows you must clearly not have understood my post LOL

Bill Maher had some great stuff in his monologue on Real Time last night. I can't remember exactly, but it was something to the effect of: "we're worried this is going to turn the Afghan people against us. We can occupy their country for 10 years and incinerate them from the sky with robotic drones -- but the peeing is the last straw."

Errrrrrrr...... shouldn't those posts read "bush/cheney/obama/biden"?

3 years into the new administration's term, we are only just now taking out troops from iraq (and replacing them with mercenaries), still going strong in Afghanistan, and have been busy bombing new countries like Libya.... Interesting that obama/biden get a pass on that...

.

no. Obama was forced to make difficult decisions about Iraq & Afganistan exactly because Bush never made those decisions. The only decision Bush ever made was to send in more troops. Bush ended NOTHING. All of the policies that have fucked over our troops, from launching a second needless war without a draft, not providing them bullet proof vests, to making them ride around un armored humvees, to cutting their rest between deployments to a year, to extending their deployments to 18 months, to rotating PTSD's troops back into the world with minimal support, all bush bush bush.

sorry pal. If repubs had their way, there would still be 100,000 troops in Iraq. Listen to what perry & mccain are saying.

Not really. He tells us he's been a US marine and then tells us how wrong it is. Is it more wrong because he was a marine? No.

so...turns out the orange county serial killer of bums is an Iraqi war vet gone crazy. Just another dividend of george W Bush. Not obama sperbonzo, bush.

But it isn't really the pissing on them that matters; it's the video taping of it and the aftermath when it hits the Arab news media. The US military is 99%+ idiots. They shouldn't even be allowed to have personal cameras of any kind with them in the battlefield. That would have prevented most controversial stories over the past 10 years.

Of course, we can only speculate why the military hasn't banned the use of cameras in certain situations. Perhaps they want this stuff to happen. It does serve to rile up the middle east, beat their war drums harder and ultimately keep the US military industrial complex alive.

Hang on...what you are saying is: oh, there's all kinds of controversies but they're fine as long as nobody knows about them.

How stupid :Oh crap
