Exactly, their biggest "argument" is that every empty DVD they buy has like one-cent fee for copyrights on it and this gives them right to everything, because they already apid a fee...

SOPA is the first law that allows you to send notices to bill processors

SOPA is the law designed to fix the problem that the DMCA does not allow you to DMCA the bill processor.

That the fucking point.

For someone who is so vehemently opposed to SOPA, you're sure making a damn good case for why it should become law :1orglaugh

alextokyo 01-14-2012 11:54 AM

the fuck kind of name is Zombaio for a billing company anyway? :321GFY

Sounds more like a cross between a the name of an Italian football club like SS Lazio and an 80's sportswear brand along the lines of Diadora or Sergio Tacchini.

Should've called themselves Epach or CC Billing, something like that.

Tell CCbill and Paypal to get rid of their forms. They are wrong and you are right. Got work to do now.

Keep doing what your doing Eric!

only if your a moron

reread my statements i don't have a problem with any of the rights granted to copyright holders when they go after rogue sites, as long as the penalty for making a bogus complaint is equal (make a bogus complaint, lose all your copyrights).

an abuse it and lose it clause is the only thing that is necessary to make sopa perfectly ok in my book.

offer acceptance and consideration

your lobby group made the deal, it was accepted by the government and the money was collected that a valid contract and therefore a valid licience.

if you want to bitch sue the trade association for making the deal, or claim your share of the piracy tax and be done with it.

Seriously that piracy tax pay more to the actual creators then the current model does

There is no "contract" - these fees are inmany countries (empty media, printers, copy machines) and I actually do not agree with them because those are bullshit fees and I dont think anything goes to small copyright holders from it.

Piracy tax - googled it, I would be against it too.

What would do for now if there would be laws in Czech which would effectively stop such blatant download services as www.ulozto.cz

Seriously what the name of the lawyer who gave your advice

as we have seen with many dmca services the people sending them out seem to have zero law education, and never read the DMCA because if they did, article 512f would concern them LOL

then sue your trade organizations

sue the mpaa for negotating on your behalf

canada has a piracy tax on blank media and the supreme court has ruled that filesharing of music is legal because the piracy tax pays for that

that the point it not piracy because it paid for.

If you think the fee is too low sue the trade organization who negotiated the fee.

they are the ones responsible.

btw if your not filling out the paper work to get your share, who's fault is that

i teach musicans how to maximize the income from piracy taxes as part of my course program. It really not that hard.

There is no fucking reason why over 137 million dollars of unclaimed piracy tax is being held by the canadian government.

denny007 01-15-2012 08:40 AM

^Interesting idea I will ask around.

Still I would prefer legislation in CZ would not be so lax about services like www.ulozto.cz pretending to be a "public storage for files"

Exactly.. and ripping my head off over an email really helps the cause. Kudos to the carding, infringement billing, the "playas" rolling over all the good guys with their mystery seed money, the rampant CP, lack of law enforcement assistance and the outstanding GFY support. Happy trails.

In all the roles covered among various players in the adult industry, alas we still have guys like this, who only dabble in adult so they can say to thier friends that they have hot bitches in their lives. Such a wanna-be :1orglaugh

FYI, he needs to give specific locations of the infringing content on your site, and correlate it to the site with the original/copyright content.

"Blanket" DMCA's are worthless and wont stand on their own two feet. Must be specific.
