When you open it again, you'll get back to where you were in a fraction of the time. At least that's what happens to me when I lose a big chunk of work to a crash. I retrace my steps quickly, and usually it comes out better than it was going the last time.
It's hate that feeling the second I realize I've just lost the last few hours of work because I forgot to save. The worst is "I'm just going to do this one more little thing, then I'll save." that's when it usually happens. I have a post it note at the corner of my monitor that says "Save Motherfucker!!!!", but I get so into what I'm doing that I see nothing but pixels for hours straight. |
btw, for those in need of autosaving features, check out http://www.electriciris.com/psdautosaver.html :thumbsup

I'm a ctrl+s freak. I push it 2 times per minute.
I even push it when I shouldn't (like in a folder, for example, after I make some changes, instinctively I push ctrl+s) :1orglaugh |

I started working on this image for a layout last night and this thread came into my head lol.
Saved that mofo with a quickness. :thumbsup By the way Edit > Preferences > Performance then change the history states number for more ctrl alt z goodness. Best of luck |
