It wouldn't surprise me if MU actually beat this. They may even beat extradition. What people allegedly wrote to each other 5 years ago in emails seems weak to me and the rest of it seems to be all about how many cars they owned. AFAIK making money is not illegal. Either way this will drag on for years without any verdict, let alone a guilty one. And nobody will end up doing 50+ years inside.

Fuck off and kill yourself, maggot brain :(

Had a lil better day too :thumbsup

Is anyone in these file lockers over 35? I tend to be in the camp that says these mostly young people are not gonna run out and start buying porn memberships BUT some will.

Copyrights in all Western countries are based on the Bern convention, now guess in which country Bern is? So that makes Switzerland the craddle of copyright laws. Also, watersports, scat, hard sm, bestiality and cp content are illegal in Switzerland while RapidShare is the biggest Swiss distributor of these niches so I wouldn't be too sure about whether RapidShare isn't violating any other Swiss laws.

Oron on the other hand, i hope has their assets seized, as they are clearly running an illegal business with blatant disregard for international law.

That being said, i am not a supporter of killing peoples business without due process and a fair day in court.
Yeah right, file lockers killing small independent content producers and software developers, now THAT'S fair!

Laws are laws, we're all supposed to know and respect them and the laws on copyrights are clear and simple: keep your hands of the intelligent properties of others.

Rapidshare is still one of the biggest mp3 trading services on the net, but hey if its not porn you guy dont care about piracy and will use their service (in fact many here trade mp3s and copy dvds and see no problem with it)

but oh noes, they traded a blowjob clip lets shut down rapidshare!!! rapidshare directly profits from stolen material every single day, millions.

omg this is funny. are you guys against piracy or not? :1orglaugh:1orglaugh:1orglaugh:1orglaugh

I don't trade mp3s and don't visit piracy forums except for adult piracy forums/blogs to check for our stolen content and to send DMCAs. Thus I have no idea what rapidshare is used for nowadays, I don't see it in adult much anymore and that is all I know about them. If they're still actively involved in piracy elsewhere, that is of course a bad thing and I do not support it in any way or form.
