Nalem.

My girlfriend and I attend the Qwebec Expo and when possible, other those. We see old friends, we make new ones, and everyone does business. JFK Does his business by taking pictures.

Just one thing though. My GF has a career outside adult, and JFK, our friend, knows it. She knows that JFK won't take pictures of her where possible, but that if she ends up in a photo, a simple quick email with an advance thank-you is all it takes to have her photo deleted.

It's cool, it's nice, its respectful to those in the industry, and respectful to those who live a part of their lives outside the industry but still like to enjoy it. This respect of everyone is what gains JFK his respect.

Are you seriously saying, again, that you will actually try to charge people for being removed from your photos and your videos? Are you really trying to disrespect the wishes of the community while attempting to earn respect for yourself by posting your photos on GFY?

If really think you can shoot whoever you want thanks to a little warning sign on some wall somewhere and then even hint at asking for payments to remove them from your videos and photos later, declare this right now. Tell everyone in this thread that you are serious, and I'll make sure to email every show owner I know and suggest that you not be admitted to any future shows. Shooting without consent and trying to charge for removal later is fucking bullshit.

i think nalem made a HUGE mistake hiring this Vince Russo fucktard. a HUGE FUCKING MISTAKE!

Your a moran.

Vince has a proven track record of increasing a company's bottom line. Time and time again he has worked hard with a variety of partners to make sure maximum revenue is being reached.

I've worked with him on a project and his drive and energy are second to done. Especially after some nosebag.

It takes time to edit a video. All you dicks know that.

Anyone complaining isn't really in the biz imho. Bedroom surfer wanking over MFC and mooching drinks off Mojohost at the circle bar doesn't make you a bro, bro.

DamianJ 01-26-2012 02:05 AM

Fiddy reasonable video removal fees

If you don't want to waste time editing people out of videos, don't shoot people who don't want to be in your video.

To have your pictures removed is free of course. Nobody charges to remove photos.
But due to the labor required we do have to charge a small fee to remove you or blur you from videos taken.

I feel this is fair and thus far we have gotten no complaints.

If money is an issue we can always work out a payment plan or a rate that works for you.

We are providing a service..

2MuchMark 01-26-2012 02:52 PM

So um... ok.

Don't video or take pictures of me, or my GF, or my employees, or my booth, or any materials we may bring, or what cars we may arrive in, or what dinner we may be eating, or what drinks we might be drinking, at any time, for any reason, at any show, ever. If I see your cameras pointed in our direction I'll find the show owner and ask that you be thrown out of the show.

If you think that a "This event will be photographed" is all it takes to give you legal license to shoot who you want, then this public announcement to you should do just the opposite.

The fact that you want to charge people to be blurred out of your videos is insane. This is a cost that YOU have to bear, and a friendly / good business / responsibility that you OWE to everyone at the show. If you're not prepared to show people this tiny amount of courtesy then you don't deserve to be allowed to attend.

B.Barnato 01-26-2012 02:59 PM

The law is on Vince's and Nalem's side:2 cents:

Who are you? Above the Law?
Only Steven Segal is Above the Law.

Vince Russo 01-26-2012 03:07 PM

Maybe you shouldnt come to America.. Here the land is free.

Vince Russo 01-26-2012 03:08 PM

Maybe you should look around. You seem to be the only one upset about this. Pouting and upset..

Would it make you happier if I waved your fee? How about this. For you and your people I will personally waive your fee.

Happy? Baby..

If we were to think like they do, then it would be OK to film their spouses and family and do as we please with the images and video.....I am sure they would not feel it was fair game once the tables are turned. :winkwink:

Probably the best thing to do is, not allow these idiots into the show and CCbill would have the power to do this.

Nah, I think those two actually believe it.

porno jew 01-26-2012 07:32 PM

probably the best compromise would be complementary masks for anyone who doesn't want their picture taken.

of course there would have NALEM branding on them in order to recoup the costs.

sounds like a win - win to me.

Why don't you guys start working like professionals and ask people first if it's ok to take their picture?

They could all have Alex's face on them . . . or whomever is his photographer for that show.

now that's thinking outside the box. good idea.

Rochard 01-26-2012 08:08 PM

So this is kind of like extortion. You know just like xxx, which is clearly endorsed by Nalem and gang.

Basically, they put you on a video, and if you want it taken off, you have to pay them. They don't need your permission to video tape you or nothing.

Dont like it? Dont go to shows.
Or wear a mask.

Or if its really that big a deal to you pay the 50-60 bucks and get yourself edited out of the video.

No, what you don't get is you are using shows and conferences as feeding grounds to blackmail people to remove their picture or image from a video. Common professional practice is to remove blur the face of anyone who does not want to be taped. My friend is a camera man for a network where they do interviews from schools to jail to fortune 500 companies, if someone doesn't want to be on tape, they must blur the person.

That just shows, you and your shady business are not professional by any means or have any respect for people or their privacy.

You guys might as well hang out in the bathroom taking pictures of people taking a crap then leave a business card telling them to pay $10 to remove the picture off your site.

porno jew 01-26-2012 08:21 PM

since they are shooting the video on private property i think different laws apply. nalem may be in the right here.

epitome 01-26-2012 08:21 PM

Vince Russo is a good guy.

I don't know why he'd make such a reckless decision.

I told him at internext that there would be backlash but he refused to listen.

To his credit though he was REALLY coked up when we had that conversation.
