Google does very well in determining unique content. Titles, short descriptions and a couple of keywords with a video can hardly be described as content. They are just like captions or product descriptions from a catalogue.
When you talk about unique content you have to look at longer articles, books, etc. |

I throw up a seo plugin on my blogs and that's about it. I write all my posts but I don't bother "optimizing" my blogs or sites. The highest ranked tubes don't even have video descriptions.
Youporn has every video on the page as an <h1> and supposedly having more than one h1 is horrible yet they have like 50 per page. |
