Looks like europe is getting canada's old winters. When I was a kid it was not uncommon to deal with temperatures that reached even colder (-50 with windchill), however, we were better prepared for it. Especially in my house, we had 2 wood stoves pumping hardcore all day n night.

Nowadays were shocked if it even reached -20.
