Well I am fucked then. I bought a cup of coffee a frappachino for the wife and a sandwich at Starbucks this AM and paid cash. I then went on to buy painting supplies at HomeDepot and paid cash because the Network was down so no CC's were being taken.

Jihomedepot!

fuck plastic money. Soon as i get electronic money it becomes paper money. fuck banks, fuck these scamming payment processors, fuck em all. Only time they get to enjoy my money is while I am driving to the ATM to yank it out.

Always used to be a minimum limit where shops would tell you to go away if you tried paying with anything other than cash because of the processing fees.

Still is; I was asked to pay cash for a small purchase of nuts and bolts for a tool -- $5.00 min for a debit card (need to keep records -- small purchases add up over a year).

That might work for guys living pay check to pay check, but for the rest of us it's not really going to work out.

what do you mean?

http://publicintelligence.net/fbi-su...orting-flyers/

the only link i was willing to click was 'tattoo shops'

for example,

if you say 'i want my identity to be private', you could be a bad guy

if you pay in cash, or credit card, you could be a bad guy

if you ask, 'how do i conceal my tattoo', you could be a bad guy

so i believe you're trying to say the articles and blogs didn't go far enough?

If you don't get chipped, you are a terrorist and may be detained.

Not to mention it's easier to "print" money, if it's electronic. :)

yep, just like other western countries' governments. Argument: electronic is safer. Real reason: Being able to track everything.
