although i like many things obama has done, doubling down on afganistan was a big mistake. As much as we want to help their country evolve out of poverty & lack of education, we can't. the cultural divide is far too big.

Karzai is a clown. 10 years of help from the USA & he has done nothing. As soon as we bail, he will fall. Its embarrasing having him as an ally. As useless as the shah of iran. The coming result will be the same, revolution.

even though the taliban will win, we should be able to live with that. We were OK with communist vietnam. we were ok with the taliban until al queda got in their big punch.

as long as we remain vigilant against al queda, we should just get the fuck out & hit al queda, wherever they are, with SEALS & drones.
