Used to only link to FHGs and then I switched to linking to the Tour. Sales and ratios improved a bit but not significantly. Now I do 75% to the tour and 25% to a FHG when the gallery is a must.

Some Sponsors have really shitty galleries but great tours

i always love threads where people are sharing ideas. on public board. congrats you two, you are doing now and in one month you will have half of the traffic if lucky because your system will be overspammed, so have luck guys, but remember less you say more you make :) i know now you dont care because you make sales, but it will be still harder

For those shitty galleries on sponsors with unique or well converting sites, maybe try making your own galleries with good selling text and maybe a good top HPA if available with a couple backlinks on each for good handwritten blogs if you have the time :thumbsup

But no one knows the niches that I promote..

Plus, what's mentioned here really makes a difference once the surfer is already on the site..

On my blogs they click the play button which shows them a min or two video. That keeps them there longer to watch a video instead of just bouncing off to see a pic or a tour. There is a call to action close to the video though.

For a call to action, I usually always have some variant of the below image displayed in a sidebar. I have split test and it does work. Seriously.

I usually mix It up. even have some direct to picture thumbs etc.

Try some fhg's designed to link to a join page perhaps. Could even give pricing right there on the fhg to weed out useless clicks. Sorry if it was mentioned already, I skimmed kind of quickly.

Like any form of learning blogging is about trial and error. Takes time...

If you don't believe me look at all the people now blogging when before you started spelling it all out for them they gave up after a few days.

I'm just confused because this thread was about converting better once the surfer is on the blog based on link type. What am I giving away that would take surfers away from my blogs?

Things like telling people to email you to know how to create 100 blogs/day, my income doesn't come from blogging, but had I spent time working and researching I'd be pissed. Anyway, maybe you are just a nice guy, it isn't for me to tell you what to do it's your call really.:)

People do that sometimes. He gave away a nice method to one person. Me in this case. And i appreciate that and if i can help him with something i will. And i for sure won't share it with anybody. I highly doubt that i will get in his way by using this method.

No, own hosting since it doesn't work on FHBs. You can make as many subdomain or subfolder blogs that you want with WPMU, or both technically.. :winkwink:
