I'm not sure that this exactly qualifies as a scam. From what I see people invested $25-$100 and most got something back so far. It looks more like a failed investment to me. Although it's a little early to say that too.

I can't see how anyone here can claim that they didn't know better or that this might not exactly pan out as they expected. It's not as if you're all a bunch of newbie marketers. You should have known there was a minor risk of losing your $25. Come on.

about a year and a bit ago stocktrader23 told me he would build me these blogs with posts and i just had to pay him + buy the domains

fast forward about a year later and i was still asking for a refund and finally got it after seeing him go silent on gfy for months and months and never responding to my emails until i called him out here - thats when i got my refund of like $100

Wouldn't it of made more sense to just build sites promoting paysites paying $30/sale or 60% revshare? Looking through that thread, most are reporting only $4-$12 made in the 2 months or so since signing up for it....you could have just had a simple adult site/blog built and with just 1 $30 sale you would have made triple what this concept was paying out. Not to mention people reporting traffic as little as 5 visitors/per site....I've seen terrible thumblogger/sensualwriter blogs make more traffic then that daily.

Fuck that. Everyone who got ripped off by the little piker needs to do this. Contact Chaturbate and make sure they cut him off as an affiliate. Offer to sell your sites to them for at least 50% of what you paid. Once they start cutting checks, it's probably a good indication that they really did terminate their agreement with the little cunt. We're not talking about a lot of money here, so there's probably a pretty good chance that the sum of the 'reparation' payments will be almost entirely offset by all current and future monies owed to stocktrader. It would be a PR coup and well worth the money in the free advertising. Do it. Don't be pussies.

true - Stocktrader23 i'd say gave Chaturbate at least 10 grand in advertising. I even gave Chaturbate a two week trial on a site and signed up under Stocktrader23, I'd have kept the ads up but i was making .005 per click and that sucks. i hate webcams other than watching crazy MFC girls.

I asked one the guys who ran this about this. I was amazed they kept pushing Chaturbate with their shitty 1 dollar sales. I really didn't see the point.
I guess they had a reason for it but i still fail to see what reason.
Looking back at my stats i made 6 bucks with Chaturbate. I bet if they sent those 3k+ clicks to any other 35pps program i would've gotten at least 1 sale.

Chaturbate was doing very well on the embeds. I was 1:80 premiums on impressions at first. $10-$13 ecpm. With an average site with a 5% ctr and a sponsor with a 1:2000 conversion rate you would need 40,000 impressions to make the first sale which equals out to under $1 ecpm. You can see the difference. I wish I were still seeing that 1:80. Now it's 1:300.

I get what you're saying but say if you were converting 1:1000 on a $30 PPS sponsor, if you converted 1:80 on $1 PPS with Chaturbate you would make $12.50 for every 1,000 visitors instead of $30 for every 1,000 visitors...even if you converted 1:40 with Chaturbate it would still be less.

However, I can see the rev share with Chaturbate having the potential to be good.

i've got over 100 open projects with all sorts of people. a $65 bet is pretty small. i gave another project $5k last month. you guys must be clueless or extremely averse to risk to think this was 'stupid'. i've made good money on pyramids before. you just have to get in early enough for the money to multiply. a pyramid only fails when the loser that started the project quits.

I'm around, got linked to the Chaturbate thread and saw this on the front page.

I'm way too busy to check GFY often. One of my mainstream businesses deals with hail damage and there were a billion storms in the last few weeks so I've been balls deep in work lately. Also, as I've told those that write on ICQ etc I put things on autopilot for a bit while an updated script was being written. Purpose being, so that traffic is not 100% direct traffic only and employees can work on building unique content on at least some of your sites for eventual search traffic etc.

The linked thread was a discounted pricing thread, not an update thread. I haven't even looked at it in forever so didn't see everyone grabbing pitch forks. Had this shit storm been brewing in the main section I probably would have seen it like I did today.

Everyone that joined HFA will continue to get traffic etc. I will admit that things have not been optimal. As the number of sites grew the rotation that employees were using stopped working as well. I am addressing this as soon as I get settled into my new office and can look at what issues need to be fixed in the new script now that pay per free is ending. I am also looking into paying the $1 myself and keeping the revshare for those that are interested. Right now about 60% that it will be green lighted, just have to get a partner on board.

tl;dr
I am swamped but shit has been moving in the background the entire time and things will get better. I will be hard to reach for short time as I am not at a computer most of the day but I send instructions to employees every morning.

there was nothing fundamentally wrong with this investment, especially with the extremely low startup cost. one guy even mentioned he made a 100%+ profit within a month. the problem, as clarified by stocktrader23 below, is that the project was put on hold so that he could focus on other projects.

i dont mind people on this board knowing i lost $65 on a risky investment. at least it shows i'm willing to take risks and invest in adult projects. calling me a "fucking retard" just shows you are a risk-averse pussy. is that how you want to be known?
