Anyway, for something as easy as a form, you should ask the coder to do all the work in his production server or his own computer, can't understand why you give access to your stuff to unknown people for such small task

Scriptguy was hired after the sites were complete, to take care of a contact form, etc. Instead, he downloaded the whole site, scripts, text, everything. The main scripting wasn't anything he wrote - he straight up stole it. Having seen the sites myself, the text is copied straight from Beaner's site.

He did defend himself, first page. Said all is free game and can do what he wants. Except he *didnt* steal anything. He replicated my sites.

And he did have a reference at the time of hire, source was reliable, also misinformed however.

Mark from GTS (Gallery Traffic Service) did this same thing, yet somehow people here still do business with him. His excuse was "it wasn't supposed to be a carbon copy" -- as if that somehow justifies it. Huge breaches of trust with clients between all of these chumps.

This is why as soon as we started doing work for webmasters we divested all of our own sites. I can never even LOOK like we could have taken any client data for our own sites because we don't HAVE any sites.

The sad part is you have no idea what you stole. You have no idea what it does and who it is provided to. What you also don't know is that the information is only a couple months from being obsolete and a whole new set of standards will apply.
