Don't be a porn webmaster from China. It's not worth the risk. It's highly illegal there. Don't even have porn webmaster stuff on your computer, just dont.

There is an adult business, lots of it phone based but you won't meet them there and they've all got deep pockets and lots of friends already.

Wikipedia says 3 years, but I know the guys got 7 (or more) for sure. May have hit them with mixed charges. Wiki also says you can be executed if you're a large underground distributor, whoever defines what that is.

Lots of places you can break the rules in, China is not one of those places unless you really want to tempt fate.

if they are going to arrest everyone with porn in the computers it would have to be millions of chineses and all male foreigners.
Things have changed in China. I talked today with a friend which is living in China and he told me that he downloads porn from torrents (most torrent sites are NOT blocked), tubes,etc. of all kinds and everyone do it, also the chineses.

You are learning "Chinese" - good. After you learned it, you should talk to Chinese people to hear what they think about your ideas. Porn is not legal in China, you say. Some Chinese people might be doing porn illegally. Make contacts. Yes... Increase the number of people you know. Of course, represent mainstream enterprises. Take a look at foreign currency as something to be exchanged to use in any country. Change Yuans into Dollars, for example. Anyway, China censors internet. Hmm... It's just not a completely globalized economy. To keep our sanity, we literally have to think of countries as separate entities. Good luck.

I've been there for a month, and loved it also. Chine is not what people think it is, but this is good. When the majority of the people discovers China is better than they think, we are already in there having profit ;)
