Uploaded.to hasn't been sending business to CCBill for the last decade. Many webmasters and sponsors here have. |

The CCBill page is right there. It's hardly a fucking secret, and you're hardly Jeffrey Wigand. :2 cents: We're in a business where full blown bottom-feeding bumbling fucking annoying talentless cockroach idiots like that clueless seedy ginger cunt Derek Smout get a pass again and again and again just because they used the company credit card to buy half a dozen $2 beers at a show a few years back. So whatever you're trying to do here, I promise you that it's not doing to make one single fucking dollar difference on CCBill's balance sheet at the end of the year. If anything, you've brought them more business. Congrats, I guess. :2 cents: People that won't do business with CCBill after seeing this thread? Let's have a show of hands... OK... 1, 2, 3... Oh no, wait. Let me rephrase that. People who matter that won't do business with CCBill after seeing this thread? Let's have a show of hands... OK... Anyone? Anyone? Bueller? Bueller? Anyone? Thought not. |

This "pirates are untouchable" bullshit is getting old, shit these guys shat their pants after kim.com got arrested, look at all the file locker sites shutting down voluntarily. If you are too pussy to fight it does not mean others are the same. If VISA got 1000 complaints from this board alone it would shut down their CCBILL account in one second....but the problem is the boards are full of lubed asses like yours... |

Racist GFY posters......we salute you! |

Segpay pulled the same thing and enough pressure was put on them that they pulled billing for the site in question. Threads, complaints, and drama isn't always what it may appear to be. Sometimes you have to shine a public light on the problem to get it resolved. Not that it will resolve this issue, but it just may. You don't know until you try. |

File lockers and torrents have made me an absolute fortune. Catch me if you can, and good luck. :1orglaugh P.S. People in this thread write about file lockers like the business model itself is illegal. Uploaded.to are definitely making a money from hosting a shitload of pirated material (and in turn, so are CCBill). It goes without saying that all the big file lockers are only as popular as they are because of copyrighted shit, but really, some of you jokers need to step the fuck back... without iLife 11 and Goodfellas Blu-Ray rips, there is nothing wrong with the file locker business model itself. It might not be very popular at that point, but there is nothing wrong with it. :2 cents: |

Since you obviously feel strongly about this, what are you doing to change things? Besides bitching about it on boards and sending dozens of emails to auto-responders that no one ever checks, of course. Hoping that someone else will step in put a stop to whatever you feel wronged about isn't going to work... we're talking money here. :2 cents:
Instead of hoping that mass complaining to others will change things, how about actually getting your shit together doing something about it? Too much effort, I guess. It's easy to just sit back whinge. The Rosa Parks of Internet piracy certainly isn't here with us on GFY :1orglaugh |

That's what I do. What about you? |
If anyone could do much about this then why are so many file locker sites out there still happily accepting Paypal?
|
Quote:
Paypal will suspend accounts if they don't respond fast enough for a DMCA. The problem is, too many people don't involved Paypal in their DMCA. They should. Paypal has suspended accounts before over this and will do it again. |
|
Anybody know how long ccbill has been processing for them? 1 month, the past 8 months??
|
Back from the holiday. Maybe a response today.

Visa Mastercard American Express Diners Paypal Their hosting Their payment processor Their merchant account provider (not the same as payment processor or bank) Their bank (merchant account) Their domain registrar (False whois = reason to bitch on to ICANN.ORG if registrar does not act) I am surprised at how easy it is in fact. And quite surprised by how little action others take. You are completely wrong with your assumption that nothing can be done. If everybody on this board got together and complained things would change easily. I guess the real question is: have you ever tried it? because you would be surprised at how easy it really is. |
umm this thread grew rather quickly

The CCBill signup page appears broken (no signup, just some junk about waiting for confirmation). There's no link to a CCBill signup page from the home page of the site.
Was the CCBill page ever actually functional? Do/did they in fact process for uploaded.to, or is uploaded just wishing? Considering Megaupload's hassles over money laundering, I'd be shocked to learn CCBill is servicing any file locker that charges for downloads and pays a lead for signups. That's bad for any paysite that uses CCBill, and places a lot of risk on sites that don't have a backup biller. Danger, Will Robinson! |
