I keep Hearing he was a YOUNG man, Young Kid, maybe the old photo they keep posting. He was 17. At 17 I graduated and was inbasic training knowing I was headed to the Iraq war. 17 year olds can be put away for LIFE in Prison.

Also most peoples stories seem to STOP when the 911 operator said we don't need you to do that.. Why does the story stop, come on finish the story....

It is unfortunate that a person was killed, I myself can not wait till ALL the facts come out.

But, what about all the Black on Black crime every day? I mean Killings? I guess it is ok to kill your own race.

IF your head was being slammed into the ground with someone ontop of you, How many more blows does it take to be knocked out?

Remember the "kid" was over 6 foot, I have seen lots of MMA and know in a full mount not many can get out of that. I don't think the Chubby Zimmerman was going to.

So, I am not saying what of these facts are true or not, I do not know.

There needs to be a Full Timeline of events and stories.

The story stops there because that is the end of the call (as far as I am aware). So what happens after that is not known for sure. All we have to go on is what Zimmerman says and what Trayvon's girlfriend says because he was supposedly on the phone with her when this went down.

It may be awhile until we know exactly what happened and we may never know 100% of the truth.

Here is one reality though. When Trayvon started running away had Zimmerman just got back into his car and waited for the police none of this would have happened. Sure, the suspect might have gotten away, but Zimmerman gets to home to his family and live his life in peace. Instead, he chose to push the issue and pursue the kid. Whatever happened after that he brought onto himself and he needs to be held accountable for his actions.

Have all the details from the investigation been released yet? I didn't think so, maybe they have. I love how 100% fact based everyone's argument is in this thread lol

looks like you can, in florida. thats pretty much exactly what the police claimed.

one good thing that will come of this is a much closer investigation of stand your ground cases, all over the country.

and zimmerman is pretty much fucked, no matter what else happens, he threw away his life when he shot that teenager. so, possibly an object lesson there for future neighborhood watch types.

for a month he thought he was free and clear - then the mediastorm him him from behind. he will be haunted now for the rest of his life, as will that town, and hopefully those police.

in another few months we will have the investigation results - that should be interesting.

I think the kids parents have a decent chance at a civil ruling against the police and the town. Lawyers will be lining up to press those cases, lots of money and fame there.

not even started being released - it will be months and years before all the forensics and investigations are completed.

we will know more by friday apparently - the first results of the first investigation are about to be released.
