I use my property tracking system, but I do need some data from the advertiser to track the conversions through the entire flow. And that is where NATS pale to other aff tracking systems.

So you are trying to defend the company you like for putting a limitation of how many hits you sent for a month? And if you are contented with 300k/month upgrade to a new plans? THAT IS FUCKING INSANE!!! Maybe you just leave this forum instead! That company you try to defend is just waste of our money. NATS is expensive we already knew that BUT it's worth it!

Anonymous badass! GtfO!!

biskoppen 04-13-2012 10:22 AM

I have nothing to compare with as my mainstream experience is very limited, but I do find that NATS is very nice to work with as an affiliate.

signupdamnit 04-13-2012 10:25 AM

There was a sponsor I use recently considering switching to Mpa3 from Nats to save money. At the tier they are probably paying in for Nats I figured up it would be about a $50 a month difference. Considering how much more Nats gets me as far as stats and options you know I'd almost pay that $50 a month myself as an affiliate for them to keep it. Not to knock mpa3 or anything but Nats 4.1 is pretty damn good and has a lot of nice options going for it which mpa3 and most other such programs just don't have. I don't see how you can call Nats 4.1 crappy. Maybe some of the previous versions, sure.

Ehhh.... hello! nothing personal here. No one is trying to hunt you down or rob you of your hard cummed money. Chill out, drink a coke, and stfu. you see me defending? I don't work for them nor have I used any affiliate links here. Instead of all this hustle and bustle, all the haters go try it out (I think they have a free trial or something) and then come back instead of bullshitting without even looking. Heck, maybe there is something new to learn. How can people be so closed minded. It's like I offended their own personal god. Instead of trying to be open minded and learn from each industries you're closed on your own habits, very close to religious zealousness

Alright. NATS OWNS, it's the best system that was ever created and ever will exist. NATS is the ultimate piece of software ever coded, it's lightyears ahead of it's time, perhaps even employing alien technology. All HAIL NATS. ALL HAIL NATS.
Now gfy you ignorant sheep. I'd rather go shoot myself than follow the mob.

AMEN.

If I had any part in NATS development, I'd ignore the guys hostility but pay close attention to the useful features that HasOffers provides. A great way to fill out the development roadmap for future versions of NATS.

lol, what a fucking cock. Spit your dummy out much there in your last post?

Hi kalel120,

Just curious - have you tried contacting your rep at TMM? Maybe your sales rep at TMM can help you out. I don't know if they charge for their time or not (I don't think so) but everyone there is pretty nice and I'm sure they would not want to lose anyone as a client who maybe didn't know how to use their system properly.

Good luck!

As you know I come from the mainstream affiliate world. The world where we have proper tracking. Where we can add sub ids easily and generate easy reports. We have HasOffers and other system. Now I got into the adult industry and it seems everyone are using NATS.
WTF ?!?!? It's the worst thing ever created for someone who is running paid traffic and wants to do some serious split testing and have proper stats.
Generating links - SHIT
Grabbing creatives - SHIT
Stats reports- SHIT
wow. I'm simply shocked people actually use a system like that in 2012.

What do you think about that?

Kal

Whats wrong with using different campaingns for split testing?

Socks 04-13-2012 12:26 PM

So let's see some serious AB screenshot testing by showing a mainstream program that does something better than NATS does.

Challenge thrown down.

that is not true
there is a option to turn on auto add campaigns ;)

Lol, read his first post again, he's just an affiliate using a sponsor with NATS, he's not their client.

John, I tried to contact you on icq but never got a reply.
Can you please contact me or give me an email where I can contact you?

Thanks a lot :)

Nats is ok as long as all you want to do is charge a fixed figure per month for your pay site.

Try and do anything outside of this and you soon find how inflexible it is.

And well all know what a fantastic future pay sites have.

V_RocKs 04-13-2012 02:13 PM

You will fit in well here.

Tom_PM 04-13-2012 02:23 PM

Maybe set excel to load stats every 15 minutes and update a spreadsheet or something on your end.

Set up your server to gather data from every incoming request, format output how you want.

Can't those ideas work with nats?

I always liked programs under NATS because everything was on 2 clicks (ref. codes, banners, content), and i was always more likable to join to program that run under NATS before any other platform, and i think that new NATS 4.1 is just great peace of tracking software and very usefull for site owners and affiliates!!!! :thumbsup

If you've never seen a shittier system than NATS, you haven't seen much.

Go take a look at MPA3, CCbill, Verotel, Zombaio and I am sure you will change your opinion.

Nats 3 was so beautiful and easy to use. Using Nats 4 is like being stuck in a nightmare. Everything is non-intuitive and complicated. Certain actions take 3 clicks when they should only take one. I could go on and on.

I'm not getting in the whole X vs Y discussion, but here are some features every affiliate program system should have:
- Adding campaigns should be as easy as adding &campagin=SOMESTRING to a ref link (without the need to first set up SOMESTRING as a campaign in the control panel).
- An easy way to export ref links. If your program has 15 sites, I want to be able to export them or copy them in one go. Basically the same options you have for exporting FHGs, but then for ref links.
- An easy way to grab banners. Put them all in one page or put them all in one big zip.
- A payments page.
- Optional emails on sales etc. (Or what I would love to see: an IPN)

Huh? I don't know of any Nats program that has autocamp disabled.
You can easily create campaigns on the fly with autocamp.

Just add &autocamp=campaign_name behind your linkcode.

my goodness! an enlightened person who believes in learning from others and in progress! bless you! seems like a lot of people here are so closed minded defending their habits like a religious belief. and I wonder why the industry is suffering and their profits are diminishing. maybe they should stfu and open their mind instead.
