With the AFF staff kissing his ass on boards, Penthouse flying him on their private jet for vacations they pay for etc... and him gleefully posting it all here for everybody to see probably put a giant target on his back. He likely wouldn't be getting those perks unless he was a whale and whales usually have assets that can be taken, especially if they're in the US. He probably wouldn't even have been on Private's radar if he had just pretended to be a small fish in a big pond. You typically don't waste your money suing somebody if there is nothing to gain except the ability to brag that you won. A lot of the tubes with full length videos they do not own or license try to conceal ownership, host overseas, keep a low profile people wise, etc. Of course they're going to go after you if you're well known, reside in the US, don't hide what you're websites are, talk about being the biggest affiliate of a public company, etc. |

since i have an "embedding" problem with my content at the moment, i will be very interested to see the result of this.
but i also have a conflict of interest since Chad used to be my lawyer and BP is a cool guy - so i will sit here and hope that this can be resolved amicably |

I think you need it or you get banned here? Quote:
Three questions 1) Why did you stop quasi-blackmailing torrent users last year? 2) How many John Does you tried to extort money from ever went to court? 3) If this is about stopping piracy and not lining your wallet, why don't you go after the initial uploading gangs? But keep not answering that and calling me a cunt if you want. It does make you look way cool. |

Kink.com for example filed a lawsuit against a foreign tube DrTuber in Florida, where their DMCA agent and their billing company is located. If that will be accepted by court as a tie to Florida, that will pave the way for many other similar lawsuits against foreign tubes which will be filed in the US. It's not as hopeless as you picture it. |
So is BoneProne a thief?

most know Boneprone personally and like him, he's been around forever and part of what we consider family in this biz. And Private is a stand up company in my opinion and seriously produces some of the best adult videos available period. I agree IF content was stolen, Private has a right to recoup lost revenue. BUT I have no idea if what Boneprone was doing was legal or not. for me, this is a case where I'd like to see an out of court settlement where both parties are happy. but all in all I am VERY interested in the outcome. |
more traffic than god!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!

I will say this much... I always figured he had some innovative ways of making money and was a smart cookie who "got it." If it turns out that a big part of his success was embedding full length scenes from companies that didn't give him permission, then I will have no respect for him. It's much easier to get to the top of this industry if you're cutting corners. I have respect for the people who do it ethically as they are fewer and further between. Piracy hurts everyone from the biggest programs to the smallest affiliate. |

At least that is how it is coming across here. Is Private extorting money from BP? |

notice how I'm wording this, I'm do such cause you have made some really good points so far forgive me but I see a major logic failure in your argument comparing renting a car and liability and embedding video....????? |

or Private will pay BP to settle out of court, BP loses his sites, but gets an out(as he claimed they weren't making much anyways). Private then sets an example they can use as leverage against others that are doing the same thing, without ever letting a court decide the legality of embedding. Since BP is seen as a "baller" anyone else they go after will assume he couldnt fight his way out and neither can they, and will also settle.
something sorta similar to acacia. just remember folks, not all lawsuits are real, some are just posturing with no intent to really do much. and this industry is well known for doing it. |

reality is... Private is sick and tired of being stolen from, and hired a lawyer. If Bone did it, he's in trouble. I pray he wasn't using stolen content. |
