Also don't forget Google does not run Adsense on Adult sites so they have no way of getting paid unless you buy traffic from them.

Since there is no money in it for them, they have to at least focus on branding and making sure customers keep coming back to google for results. What do surfers want when they search for adult keywords?

They want to masturbate.

Where is the easiest place for them to do that?

Tubes.

Adapt or die.

For 3 days after the update, I had double traffic which was great. Then after that my traffic went down to 1/5 what it was. I'm so pissed.

lesson learned: ADAPT OR DIE

You are not alone. Many good unique resources gone from the Google SEPR's, so not there are completely irrelevant results that contain a lot of "high quality sites". E.g.: http://www.google.com/search?q=profe...l+autoblogging

As you can see, there is http://www.professionalautoblogs.com/ on the 2nd position. So what's exactly Google considers as a high quality website.

All SEO forums are full of stories about white hand-written sites slapped by Penguin. On the other hand the spammy doorways got higher positions. Seems there are many guys who will make a bank on the recent Google engine "improvement".

I lost at least 40k/day google :(

This is total bullshit update from google. My sites are as clean as you can possibly be, updated frequently, many inbound links, and google still bent me over and fucked me hard

Lykos 05-01-2012 07:05 AM

Hope you get your rankings back !

I don't think this update will stick in its current form.

I believe Google will rollback its new "improvement" or it will lose the surfer's trust.

That sucks for you, tonyparra. You are losing lots of traffic. Of course, high Google rankings are a privilege, not a right. You may lose those rankings if your site is just not good enough. Good luck trying to optimize your site better. Adapt and compete in the fast-paced environment. Build up many high quality links.

i just keep on working. But a quality mainstream site on the last pages all of a sudden for premium keywords, with unique quality posts i personally write? Thank you google. It has to be temporary and i have faith in it that it will return, but this shit is so damn frustrating.

3. Don?t participate in link schemes designed to increase your site?s ranking or PageRank. In particular, avoid links to web spammers or ?bad neighborhoods? on the web, as your own ranking may be affected adversely by those links.

4. Don?t use unauthorized computer programs to submit pages, check rankings, etc. Such programs consume computing resources and violate our Terms of Service. Google does not recommend the use of products such as WebPosition Gold? that send automatic or programmatic queries to Google.

When has Google ever NOT said stuff like this?

glowlite 05-01-2012 10:01 PM

It's working good for me. But I have always built for users not SEs.

Seriously, did I just read this right? You actually think Google's bot/algorithm/index can come to your site/blog read/understand your content as rich and organic? Google's algorithm is a mathematical formula and doesn't have a clue how authentic or even relevant the total content is. Meaning, you might pour your heart out in a post/site and think it's awesome, but how does Google know that? If they did, would they really need you?

Guy's it's not that difficult. Google gambles if your keywords/phrase, supporting text, and site when they first list you. Then if surfers click and stay or not, your link climbs, drops, or stays in the SERPS, that's it.

So when you're dropping/dropped it means others did not link/like your post/site as they bounced off the SERP. The masses determined if your content was or was not relevant, not Google.

Yes, we all know this, but one method I use or a simple scenario. Xtranormal is a great place and dead simple to use place to make movies. It's actually fun to make a video from the content you were going to blog about anyway. I'll make a 3+ minuted video and then post it on a blog with the storyboard text posted underneath with the targeted keywords/phases.

I'll then backlink it (explained above) to get indexed as surfers will watch the video, read the supporting text and spend up to 4 minutes or more on the site as 1% hit the ads, 10% link off to inner pages or my other sites, and I guess rest fuck off back to the SERP? I then throw in 70% splog/spun posts supported by organic (big fucking hint) photos as the spun text phrases often get indexed.

Google loves this as most new posts phrases I am targeting are indexed. I do get drops when Google dances, but then re-link (explained above) and add another movie. Presto, I am back on top again.

I average one new move every 2 months and built a following as that blog ad revenue generates $25-$35 a day in MS. Total hours on the blog so far, 100 hours as the sites been up 2.5 years.

Blog setup, domain, software: $200
100 hours of work: $2000 (or my time)
Xtranormal charges: $100
Quarterly Backlink update $100 x4= $400 (or my time)
Total Cost: $2700
Yearly gross revenue generated: $10,950
Yearly net profit: $8,250 x 2.5 = $20,625

My point, you invest $2700 and 100 hours of your time and most importantly, well thought out truly organic content in a targeted MS niche, brings a return of $20,625.

Or you can type your fingers to the bone and lose all hope as your content slowly degrades because of it. Meaning, good organic content is a must, but a well thought out organic content delivery method, much much more important. :2 cents:

thanks for the info. I'm not only looking at unique text ofcourse. The site structure is made very well. Supported with the popular social media. The average time on site of all visitors is over 3 minutes in april. That's pretty good in my opinion. All these things combined i just find it weird that it is knocked down since last week, but like i said considering all the factors it has to bounce back.
