No shit. I moved out of a huge house outside of Toronto to a downtown apartment about 20 years ago. I rented a 3 bedroom storage unit to hold my stuff.

Six months later, turns out the movers had put SOME of my stuff in the unit I rented, and the REST of my stuff in some random unit that no-one could find. By then the movers were gone, as was my stuff... and that's how Storage Wars came to be...

Of course, the only southern brothers I have camping out at Home Depot are Americans. By AaronM's own admission, those fuckers are all useless and lazy. The movers might have lost my stuff, but at least they moved it... The funny is - they were Mexican.

the 33 cents of water was a nice gesture but doesn't really make any difference in the negotiations of course

I see groups of them all the time at Home Depot, I always assumed they were just waiting for a ride to the jobsite.

Have used them for a variety of jobs before... One guy I ended up helping by pointing him to free English classes and a spare computer that was golden to him and rusting to me. He ended up learning English better than me and went on to take trade classes. Told him to stop sending so much back home and save up for a lawyer. He hired one and got to stay in America legally. Now he is moving his family up here. All from a chance meeting with me. [patting myself on the back right now]...

When I was in LA last year, I rented a nice BMW, we were driving out to Van Nuys airport for my flying lesson and I missed the turn, so decided to drive into Home Depot, turn around and come back. Holy shit, was that insane... about 30 Mexican people came running toward the car. I had no idea what was going on as I'm not used to that type of thing. My Fiancee put it together as I attempted to get us the hell out of there. Thinking back it was pretty funny, but I about shit my paints when I saw them all running. I guess I used their area as my turning spot or something.
