YT is a mainstream site. You being the mainstream success that you are should have been able to easily figure out how to monetize the THIRD BIGGEST mainstream site on all of the Internet.

Don't know why everyone is getting so upset about this. I thought everyone knew to upload videos to youtube and you put your link to your site. Thought this board was about sharing ideas and strategies. I use to do this allot but havn't in a while cause it seemed to take allot of time. Maybe someone else would care to share some other strategies to help us all.

What you do is make a video about anything you are selling.

Watermark it with your url and put the link in the description.

A good idea would be music videos and sell ringtones. or movie clips and the page it goes to has a cpa ad. Fill it out to see the whole movie now!

Just don't link to any of your videos here to youtube. They obviously monitor it and will take them down fast.

Problem I've personally experienced is getting anything to stay up for any period of time. Even if it's a fully clothed model interview people take offense to the content being discussed and flag it.

There is a difference between me as affiliate coming on here and sharing a few tips and a program sharing their affiliates traffic sources. Especially when that source is at best described as in a gray area as far as marketing is concerned.

The problem isn't what the affiliate was doing on YouTube. The problem is a sponsor coming to GFY and posting an affiliates methods of traffic generation. THAT is what is fucked up. The fact that he'd do that to an affiliate. Anyone sending him traffic at this point is a fucking idiot.

Nope. I don't give a shit about the particular method of generating traffic. I just think it's a scummy thing for a sponsor to expose any of his affiliate's projects anywhere, especially GFY.

The point isn't that some ground breaking secret method was exposed. The point is an affiliate network not only exposed one of their own affiliates traffic sources but direct linked to his video on a public forum.
