I read on the package it's illegal to give bison any hormones .... so there's a bonus.

It's pretty funny "they" make it illegal to give some animals hormones but it's fine for others. I don't get it.

They have it at the grocery store around here. It's about double the price of ground beef but worth it.

.

Exactly what this guy said.

LOL no corn is not.

Real corn (before humans cross breed it) had only a kernels per stalk. Very different.

Corn ferments in bovines and as a result they get all sorts of gastric problems and infections thus the antibiotics and other chemical agents to counteract the problems corn produces.

Grasses are what should be feed to animals such cows. Alfalfa and clovers are also very good and safe.

The same applies for elk and deer which can also eat tree leaves and bark, acorns, ferns, fruits, nuts along with lots of other greenery. Long term eating of corn for deer and elk can be deadly.

They're delicious, as long as they are bred for this I see no problem

Yeah bison is good if cooked right. Although I'd have to be pretty damn hungry to have myself a horse or dog burger.
