They took the links down shortly after they took the page down, obviously they saw this thread. page (and links ) were up for over a month until I linked to it, 5 minutes after I made my post.. taken down. It's no coincidence. Anyway I don't get it. I'm a fan of your work, thought you would like to know :Oh crap |
While I've been away I've been thinking about this.
We need to enlist the help of other organisations trying to combat porn. Inform them of the ease a person has in accessing the most vile porn on file lockers. Anti porn, Feminist, Women's Groups, etc. Mainstream porn is immune, Barry can cry lie a baby but mainstream porn isn't going to suffer. Get it outside the porn industry. Get the attack coming from people who now how to lobby and can appear on TV without the stigma of being in porn. Paypal will not listen to us, they will listen to CNN, ABC, etc. There are experienced people who are well practiced at bringing subjects to the media's attention. We need them in the fight. When a parent Google's "Protecting children online." Make sure one of our blogs comes to the top of the searches with tons of useful advise and pointing the finger at the problem, from a parents perspective. Writing about File Lockers is just one subject and the main one. We talk a lot about parents taking the steps to protecting their children. Well lets help them by telling them how and showing them how. With articles and links to Net Nanny or others. Get it on different blogs, keep them off this board as we are open and being watched. The file lockers will be DOS attacking anyone they see as a threat. Thinking it's teens in their bedroom doing it, is naive. ORON is far more capable. |
We already have support outside of the porn industry.
So far I am liaising with software companies, music businesses, a child protection group and others. I wont be specific as to who, however this has grown from a simple one person idea into a growing coalition. This week we will be launching a hotline where people can report instances of piracy related to file lockers and child exploitation which will be filtered to the appropriate agencies. There are some other initiatives planned but I can't go into details right now. |

I think we also need to keep the pressure on cc companies. The more complaints they receive, greater the chances to have an impact. So, if u want the right infos @ MC and V, ICQ me.

They can throw what they like in my direction, this is becoming a broader effort than just myself and the issue is able to be mitigated. |

I guess it's just pure luck or divine intervention that we don't get our protected content stolen. Not even by the carders. Thank you Lord for another GFYer showing us all the way. |

All those locker and pirate board owners are here among us. :Oh crap |

I appreciate the effort, but I am going to be very particular about who comes on board. Don't do anything without liaising with me on the phone or ICQ please. |

Robbie is constantly blasting people on how well he did to stop people from pirating his sites. When in reality he did nothing to stop or track them. He just has very few fans and so his content is not desirable enough to pirate. How are you going to track down and sue someone using a stolen credit card? How are you going to sue or charge someone with a crime using a forged ip address? :1orglaugh |

Doesn't mean anyone disagreeing owns them, lol. Want to discuss morals and ethics lets discuss what YOU do for a living and where. :1orglaugh |

ShareFlare run another file locker, aimed at video content, but also other content which is one of the most disturbing we have seen.
LetItBit. http://stopfilelockers.com/letitbit-...d-pornography/ There is so much ripped porn content, child pornography and pirate software it's daunting to research. |

Everything that you think is impossible, is quite easy thanks to technology. And there is more than one way to monetize your content, thanks to piracy. If you had any skin in the game, you'd know this. Quote:
Incredibly unmoral and unethical, I know. It's difficult to sleep at night. If it wasn't for the meds and lots of alcohol to numb the pain, I would have offed myself by now. Quote:

Don't you understand there is a strategy in place here and we don't need people bumbling in and preempting things we already have planned. It will just hurt the effort in the end. So Paul, enlighten us , what is "Already Done" ? |

You keep up the good work. |

You would need to develop a "master file" or DB where you are logging all of these copyright claims, DMCA's, action taken, result and build a mountain of evidence. Only then are you going to get any real tangible results. If you can show a site/file locker/whatever is knowingly participating, or promoting this sort of behavior, that is a whole different ballgame. If they are handling abuse issues in a timely fashion, have more clean clients than bad, and can prove this. You're dead in the water. Obviously, the bad companies or sites, would not be able too. While not a perfect solution, it is the only legal one, which stands a realistic chance. It will all come down to malice, or intent. :2 cents: |

The site dedicated to the hotline will have an online form for more detailed reports to be left. What we're going to try to do with the phone hotline is to establish patterns that we can then use in our own analysis of these sites. One thing I have noticed by some of the less credible commenters in this thread is the fervor to use going after big sites. We're going after every site that is an illegitimate file locker. The processes are complex. I am not going into details but the behind the scenes work is enormous. We'll get to the big boys, it's all going to take time. |
phone hotline? global?
You are going to sit and listen to every complaint made by trolls? I hope for you they don't get the number. Why wouldn't you use e-mail with filters? Is each call being transcribed for you? |

And I agree. A takedown depository is a good step in showing what is really in these lockers. Not unlike chilling effects for Google. Having a few takedown notices is worthless IMO. You need as many as you can get. :2 cents: |

AdultKing, I want to apologize. I keep falling for troll bait and am assisting them in derailing your thread. I'm putting them on ignore.

Now we need to remove Webmoney (which will be harder) and push for the site to be cut off from their hosting provider. I smell blood with Extabit! |

"I dun wnt trolls but I'm going to argue with them for 8 pages instead of doing anything substantive"
I supported the thread at the start and I almost cant even read it now. Not because of "trolls", but because my eyes hurt from rolling them. If adultkings claims are accurate it is an admirable thing he is doing, but the behavior of some of his his cheer leading squad is turning me off big time. |
