I've had the cheaper labels before, always wanted to try the blue label but it costs $250+ last time I checked.

The blue tastes substancially different then the other ones.

Balvenie is a nice scotch. If you like something smokey, try an islay. Bowmore I like. Their darkest blend has a lot of sherry notes. Personal favorite is Lagavulin. Its got a ton of smoke to it. Also had a vintage Caol Isla at a pub, but I've never been able to find it again

The Balvenie 15 is great, or I have also enjoyed the Aberlour 12/15.
