I actually have a question on conversion rates, being a newbie and all. The start of this thread references rates of 1500:1, 1800:1 etc - what are these? Is it a reference to unique visitors, pageviews, clicks to affiliate sites? Essentially what I'm asking is: what sort of traffic should I need in this kind of niche to start getting results? My numbers are very small right now, hovering around 100 uniques a day, but I'm a patient man (:

All those 4 sites converts good (SexArt.com, Babes.com, X-Art, Passion-HD) with proper traffic. I would add joymii.com to this list.

Ok, I'm using all of those guys on my site but I'm still wondering about conversion rates and traffic, ie what do those numbers relate to? Uniques? Click-throughs?

ratio = unique hits from you to a paysite / divided by sign ups quantity

but don't jerk on ratio numbers, because ratio also depends on:
1) how to count it
2) sign up price.
3) trials on/off
4) advertising, text of advertising etc.
5) traffic quality
4) other factors
