Unless your buying the new model (2010+) they are a nightmare to deal with. I wish I could of read the first page of the BMW forums before I made this decision.

Transmissions on these cars are a death trap and run about $5-7k to fix! Mine is almost there and just waiting. Its called the "60,000 mile curse"

For a $100,000 car it sure is a piece of shit. They look cool, but cost a fortune to maintain.

Id look at the Lexus LS 460L. I drove a 2008 and IMO, MUCH better than the 7 :2 cents:

A 4.6 V8 doesn't do that well gasoline wise in traffic.

I put together my first car (the 59 Impala) when I was in high school by putting two wrecks together. So I guess I had a 59 Bel-Aire for a while too.

Been driving for roughly 32 years

have owned 7 vehicles and one motorcycle. My first car was a '74 Chevelle. Sky metalic blue, deep-dish chrome rims. Damn I'd give my eye teeth for that car now.
