But sure that cannabis decrease IQ.
What I wanted to say with that comment is that you can still be smart smoking cannabis, just not as smart as if you did not. So the fact that somebody is doing well (eg making 1k/day) does not prove that article is wrong.

Cannabis results in short term memory loss for sure. But I am not sure if it decreases IQ.
Also long term memory stays intact.

Who the hell knows about all these studies, it depends anyway from person to person.

cocaine sure at the beginning improve productivity, thats the fact. and about marihuanna, if i would be not smoking i would be maybe president, or i may have finished high school and working in some company for lets say 10percent i am doing now with 10times more stress. i dont think marihuana is taking down iq or anything, steve jobs, bill gates, and much more people who made this world as it is now have been smoking marihuana, and now rest of the world, fucking many non smokers and people fighting against marihuana, are now using their products ... man, it is not global, it is in everyone :winkwink: :2 cents:

Doing any mind altering drug excessively doesn't help one's mental shape.

However, nobody can spend hours, weeks, months and years wholeheartedly arguing about that as all those chronical cannabis abusers do.

If you count the time and effort they put into justyfing their habit over and over and over, that itself already may be a sign of a mental downfall.

how is this even news? it makes you lazy and kills ambition, at that point who gives a shit how high your iq is? The number of pot heads in mensa is huge, and they are about the most worthless collection of non-contributing people on earth, coincidence? No.

Why would anyone take something that diminishes ambition? I guess life is easier that way.

Its always funny to watch drug addicts come together and justify their use. Expansion of the mind, its natural so its ok, etc, etc. If you do something everyday as a part of your regular routine, you should really ask yourself if you could stop and would it bother you stopping for a week or 2..

That being said, I am all for legalized marijuana, I think its ridiculous that alcohol is legal and pot isn't.

People acting dumb with weed is just mental, just like any other drug (Even though weed isn't a drug..).

For example, we did a study with one group of students partying with real beer and one group with non-alcoholic beer in real beer cans. Both groups acted exactly as drunk and dumb even though the non-drunks were sober. It's all about how you mentally drown out your inhibitions..

The first hooker I ever banged told me too much pot could lower my libido. I thought it was what made me horny. The new strains of high octane weed do tend to knock me out if I smoke too much. I still enjoy it, but like alot of things, I try not to over indulge.
