Blast from the past.. Porto's best player Hulk left Portugal and moved to Zenit for about €50 million.

However, check odds to see who are favorites to win Champions League http://www.oddschecker.com/football/...-league/winner

Let's see how much you are laughing when it gets to the serious business in February. They may not win it but I think they'll get to at least the Semi Final. A team that spends $200 million in pre season on some of the best players in Europe, has to be taken seriously.

As the season progresses, they'll gel together better and better. So assuming they do that by the time the groups are finished, and get out of their own group, they definitely have the team to bring it home.

Lets see :) Hulk was not the best Porto player, Joao Moutinho and James are. Hulk was very good but Porto sold him for ?60 million.

I was just saying that the teams up for betting should be the ones on Pot 1 those are the best teams in the group stage. Porto was just the 7th club this year :)

I know the odds are like that but I always bet for my club.

Exactly. It's easy for people to think PSG and post stupid comments but I followed their player acquisitions and their story, they have some top players and a good Coach. The more games they play together and understand each others style, the better they will become. It'll be interesting to see how far they go given that Manchester City did the same thing, bought all the best players and didn't make it out of their group last season.

MattPornerBros 10-02-2012 12:42 PM

This question is REAL easy :2 cents:

Well, Ancelotti has previously won CL. Mancini hadn't. I'd say that might just make the difference. ;)

Zlatan won the championship with all the teams... is the Champions League that he has never won.
This year with this team he can makes the difference.

One man doesn't make a team, no matter how good. Just look at the Swedish national team.

But a good manager can do wonders even with a mediocre team. Seeing that PSG have a great manager and a great team of players, it could happen.
