Maybe by sheer volume many of his posts had some content to them.

I know I made 650 or so... and of those, I *tried* to make most have meaning of some sort... a lot didn't.

I am not even sure how I ranked in the end...

But it might be cool to have a top 10 posted and have GFY members vote on who made the biggest contribution, or attempted to post things of merit.

Even VegasDude will admit that he didn't have anything to say 99% of the time...

But if the shotgun approach could win such a thing, well, then someone would have just written a script and blasted the boards...

I am not trying to see him stripped of this, or say he doesn't deserve to win. I just would like an official stance on the rules...

Those are what kept me, and many others, from living on the boards for 24 hours at a time.

actually, since many of the top 10 probably bumped his threads and helped him continue his rambles, I think VegasDude should split his prizes amongst the top 10.

I agree...I was warned personally in a thread by Lensman for doing this...its totally bullshit that he won by posting a million stupid fucking threads..... i at least tried to get people reponding in busy threads....check out my posts.....i was trying to post legitimate, although controversial threads that generated conversation....then I was "told on" by someone who shall remain nameless and warned by Lensman to stop...so i did.
