See this what I saying. if person 1/2 white 1/2 black and they successful they people say they are black, when we all know they wouldn't have been successful without having a lot of white in them. Blacks just trying to take credit .

For college applications and home loans (and a lot of other programs that get federal funding, I'm sure) disclosing race is entirely optional - but it generally asks what ethnicity the individual most identifies with. I like the idea of that: It's unimportant what your actual genetics are, what's truly important is how you perceive yourself. So, his opinion on the subject is the only one that matters.
