As far as what I see as a paysite owner. Here is the breakdown via Google Analytics for claudiamarie.mobi

The bounce rates for all of those are above 80% by the way. (horrible)

... It's a great marketing tool to get signups for when they go home and get on a real machine or tablet and THEN sign up.

Not so good for affiliates of course...because you can't cookie a guy from his phone to his PC. lol
The last 30 days we served over 1 Million webpages to 300,000+ visitors.

Our bounce rate has declined from 50% to 34% with our mobile site redesign.

Payment methods on mobile are fragmented and overpriced -- we have found some ways around these problems and continue this effort.

We tried to minimize ours ... What mobile device do you use?

The fluid design we use is geared toward smart phones and tablets, both android and apple.

I've asked myself the same question and the answer is definitely yes. Apparently it's a lot more convenient for the average porn user to sneak in a quickie on their mobile phone.

Also, having worked in mobile for a minute now, I'd say the numbers speak for themselves. :)

I see someone does mobile.site.com special host... with redirects and such... We support mobile but not made a mobile version, I mean, made sure on mobile the pages display ok and replaced only the video component to be html5 (HLS) instead of Flash. In fact modern mobile's got good browser and I am bored when I am redirected to "mobile version" which is unnecessarily smaller.

You should be targeting country specific billing solutions where punters don't actually need to enter credit card details, and with your product, you really should be.

You seem to have the pages before and if you dont have a billing friendly page, put a simple 1st stage mobile friendly capture page in to grab email and username, then feed that to the normal page and prefill the details, if they drop out, then you can follow them up with an email when they are back at their PC. You can even spawn that as soon as they enter the email to at least capture a few more sales as I'd guess the bounce rate is fairly high.

If you log in as a user and try to buy credits scroll down to see all the options -- I don't get any carrier options for reason of being in the USA -- USA carriers will not bill for porn. We do GEO-IP if you are in Germany, Italy, France, UK, etc. you should get what is available. In any event we do quite a few sales but it is a small part of our picture overall however trending upwards.

We prefer credit cards because the fees to us are so much less. Every show the models get paid at 50% + our operating expense + an affiliate referral maybe.

Trading money with carriers or mobile billing companies that want 40% is a lose-lose proposition. The idea is to make money not to enrich carriers (some are reasonable) and processors with most or all of the profit.

Is that 123 ticket ? Have you tried direct with an aggregator and not using a shared short code? I'll mail you as I know there are a lot better rates than resellers out there.

in the 3rd world where people still use internet cafes due to lack to home pcs/internet its common for the locals to have their entire life on their smartphones, despite living in a shack thats $50 a month for rent. so yes people do use phones for porn, lots. not sure of how many buy but i hear countless stories from girls running up to me with their BB/android showing me fucking a chick on some tube site
