Lots of newspaper endorsements, and good publicity, which is encouraging. Imagine if every adult site posted something on their front page, as some sites are doing now (that is a lot of views)... Added to ADG Home Page this morning: http://www.asiandivagirls.com/temp/G...DG-No-On-B.jpg Vote NO on Measure B, next Tuesday, Nov 6th! :angrysoap ADG |
We can do that, big gfy announcement coming in a bit

Really . . . .
Uhm - how does the No on Government Waste Committee and Man-Speech Coalition plan to get anything on-air in less than 10 days before an election?
Even radio Traffic Departments need 5 days lead time to put an ad into rotation. TV takes even longer. |

Hey guys maybe the set up and timing is not perfect and could have been started before, ok fair enough, but at least, someone is trying to do something and nothing really force them to do this, same as the support, nobody force, but what can you loose if you try to help and spread the word..
will you prefer no action because its too short notice... its never too late and always worth something Having made a lot of marketing campaigns of many kind in my career, the last 72 hours are the most crucial to make people choose/buy/move. You can advertise something 6 month in advance and its good to make some long term pre-campaign, but peoples do forget easily and the last hours are the MOST important People will say ok, this vote is tomorrow, well I might go, it has a lot more direct impact than ads seen 2 months ago...especially for a vote like that And dont worry about medias, most of them will find a way to sell you a spot if you bring new money in the tank, trust me, I bought many ads last minutes and maybe not always the best deals, but they will figured it out something and IT WILL HAVE AN IMPACT Lets do it !! `) |

http://www.groomgroove.com/best-man-...ree-toasts.gif The polling numbers which I saw indicated that there was a large undecided/don't know group out there, that may be persuaded by an effective last minute ad blitz. :stoned ADG |

Well maybe an overnight spot between 11PM and 4AM can be swung at smaller stations. I guess someone put KLOS's ad price on their credit card or something . . . But, yeah South, you and I do think alike more often than not.
No the last minute is NOT the time to be doing this, since mail-in ballots were due today! There's a reason political campaigns start over a year before the election. Same with major motion pictures, but I digress. . . . I am a professional publicist and marketer and have been doing this shit longer than half these posters have been alive -- the MONTHS leading up to the election, event, etc are crucial. And truth be told, all that past campaigning by the No on B forces was fuckin' wasted on stupid arguments that just made all of us in this industry look like inbred yokels. I've been putting out better arguments against Measure B for months now, as has Porn Law and many others. Waiting until the final five days before an election to start seriously raising money, and to launch a media No on B campaign? Seriously? Porn Law and I don't get paid the big bucks Diane Duke and the others are paid by Manwin over at the No on B Org, and we have been working for a hell of a lot longer against the measure than the fat cats. ROFL PS: Thank you Kylie Ireland for doing the radio spots. I haven't heard them yet, but if anyone can make an argument sound convincing, yet sexy, it's likely you. ;) |
