Weird. Mitt wants to have the states deal with their own emergencies, and get rid of FEMA. Unusual for the Christie to go begging to the Feds considering where they stand on the issue.

Really. You think Obama is going to leave you alone to do your porn? The tax revenue will be distributed to third world nations. Obama loves this because it subscribes to his "redistribution of wealth" philosophy. This is a treaty Obama is eager to sign. And, he will do it whether he wins or loses. He will do it as a lame duck president after he loses. In case you're wondering why you haven't heard about this... the mainstream news media has not covered it because they don't report anything they deem is hurtful to Obama's re-election.

Romney's plan is much better. Let's get rid of FEMA, split that money up fifty ways, and then tell the states they are on their own.

The campaign on Saturday started airing an ad about the auto bailout that said Jeep might start building vehicles in China. The ad is technically accurate, but has been called misleading by many, since the automaker is only talking about Chinese production for Chinese consumers.

Fiat / Chrysler / Jeep said that this is not true : http://blog.chryslerllc.com/blog.do?id=1932&p=entry

Instead of Apologizing and correcting his "mistake", Romney is doubling-down on this and has even made a TV ad pushing this lie even further.

How can you vote for him?

Don't post any other questions or answers to anything other than this subject. The fucking guy lied about a company, the company told him and everyone else he lied, and Mitt won't correct or apologize - just continues to lie.

What say you, Mittlover?

Once again, **********, you prove that you have no idea of what you're talking about. Something you have done repeatedly on GFY... like every time you post about the U.S. presidential election. Do us all a favor and stick to Canadian politics where I would hope you are better informed.

But, for the sake of your misguided and ignorant argument... let's just say Mitt was wrong about his assertion that Chrysler/Fiat would be outsourcing Jeep production to China... that it was an "untruth". Did anybody die in this scenario? You can't say that about Benghazi. Can't say nobody died in Benghazi as a result of Obama's inept, dishonest and incompetent handling of protecting American lives in Libya. If you don't know about Obama's coverup of his failure in Benghazi because the mainstream media ignores it, you better do some research on it before shooting your mouth off. Mitt Romney has done nothing in his business or political career that even somes close to the lies Obama is telling about Benghazi. If I were a parent of one of the four Americans who needlessly died there, I'd be suing Obama for criminal negligence.

Brujah 10-30-2012 03:59 PM

What's so misleading about this ad?

"Obama took GM and Chrysler into bankruptcy, and sold Chrysler to Italians who want to build Jeeps in China. Romney will fight for every American job."

Obama can't fix the economy. He doesn't even have any ideas out there. His original liberal ideas have utterly failed. That's why this election is so close. If he had just done something the first two years other than govt. bailouts to big banks and shoving healthcare down our throats...he would be winning this election in a landslide.

Excuses aren't cutting it anymore. And half the people in this country don't see his policies as being in their "best interests" no matter how much liberals try to convince them otherwise.

You can't piss on my leg and tell me it's raining.

Under Obama, the banking industry has been regulated, the auto industry has been saved, the stock market has more than doubled and the unemployment rate has dropped. Or, as Fox News is reporting it, "a dismal record of failed economic policies." - Bill Maher

Yep but the misinformed don't know. Like mitt is going to bring jobs when that's not what he did in business not even close. And let's not forget the president gets to pick at least one Supreme Court judge. That one is a big one.

It's funny how every four years we hear the same thing.

"But this time it's more important because the president gets to pick a supreme court judge!"

I'm hearing it now. I heard it in 2008. I heard it in 2004. I heard it in 2000.

The fact that Obama lovers are having to try and convince people that everything is great is indicative that it is not. People aren't stupid, and I know when the economy is good and when it's in the shitter. I'm an ex-Obama voter and he plain out is a liar and a failure as far as the economy goes.

No more excuses. :)

Yep, I don't think most people give a fuck about the Supreme Court at the moment anyway. They are voting their pocketbook. And no matter how many Democrats try to say that Obama is great...people without good paying jobs are not going to buy into that bullshit.

It's funny people who like the president are just wide eyed fools. The economy is doing better , the market is at 13k . My wife and I went to the mall this weekend the parking lot was packed and people leaving with bags in their hands. If you think Romney is going to do better you are kidding yourself and the next Supreme Court justice could really make a difference in our lives. That's not bullshit but a fact especially when the guy you want in was a bishop in his church.

Tony...if things are so great then why are you having to say it? It should be self-evident to everyone, right?

Or are you trying to tell me that the Romney campaign and the evil Republicans have somehow brainwashed everyone into thinking the economy sucks?

Sorry man..but if the economy was doing so well, Obama would be re-elected in a landslide.

People are not blind and they know how much money they are and are not making. As I said, you can make excuses, post links, etc., etc., but none of it compares to what people are seeing in real life.

It's time for a change. Obama had 4 years. On to the next one! And let it be a lesson to future Presidents. Don't think you can go in and NOT do the things you promised in the first four years (especially since Obama specifically promised to do these things IN his first term).

Yep, I remember all the years before 1979 and we were just poor savages living off the land everytime a hurricane hit us down in Fla.

I was born in 1961 and without FEMA there to hold our hands...we watched our homes destroyed and then everybody in Fla. lived in grass huts. Nobody had anything until FEMA was started.

No,we didn't pay more. We paid less. Much less. If you are a C corp like most small businesses you would know that. And it's the small businesses that employ the most people. The economy won't improve based on the strength of the automakers. It's the millions of small business that need the help.
