$400 for a dedicated and $6.25 for a tiny virtual account elsewhere.
I have no idea on the specs, because that kind of thing makes my head explode. I do know that after the first of the year I am going to be seriously considering changing what I have. In terms of affiliate paysite traffic, I have a fraction of what I used to. I have told myself that I needed to stay with something dedicated because of scripts. However, with JMB flying the coop, I don't know that those products will continue to be useable. If they aren't, at this point, I don't see investing in new scripts to replace them, given that the revenue the sites create just isn't worth it. If that is the case, I could do everything that I do on WordPress. Which would mean either a downsized dedicated, or spread-out virtuals. I just have to balance that against the fact that I have a world class host, and what the ramifications would be to switching to a lesser one. |

^ The guy (pamon) got a hard time, and yet nothing he said was incorrect. I assumed he meant only people with large amounts of traffic needed to pay more. You could make a living with a server running in Virtualbox on your desktop PC.

Having a good system administrator to manage your servers and tweak the performance of your software is the key to brining down your monthly hosting bill. We can help you with that.
