What's pathetic is he only got 47% of the vote when his party was convinced he would win. 9 out of 10 of the wealthiest counties in the US voted for Obama. As usual, all Romney had voting for him were the poor states, many of which consume more federal dollars than they actually contribute. |

I do fly a bit though. And I was searched last year flying to New York, and searched last week flying to Austin Texas and back. And again I say...I want ALL my freedom. That's "how much freedom" I want. And did you not understand that when they put the locked steel doors on the planes that that put an end to any "terrorists" being able to hijack the plane? Also...you keep saying "other countries" do it. Yeah...they do it because WE insist on it. Also, last time I checked I was talking about the U.S. constitution and the freedom we are supposed to have. Not what people in other countries may or may not do. I don't want to argue this. You are fucking frustrating to me. I can't stand it when people just shrug off their personal freedom. So let's just drop the whole damn thing. I am a guy who believes in freedom. I don't feel very "free" here. You might. And I do agree that a lot of countries ARE less free. But I'm not here to compare my freedom to a third world shit hole country. I'm looking at the personal freedom that has slipped away over the last 20 years or so in the United States. It's baby steps. But whatever. From the way you talk, you will be comfy no matter what the govt. does. As long as it doesn't affect you. I understand that. But I'm not that way. |

Actually it was pretty clear to anybody with half brain that Obama was going to win (besides clear red or blue states there were +- 9 undecided states and Obama needed only couple of them to win PLUS according to the pools he was leading in all those 9 undecided states). I personally made money betting on pretty much clear Hussein's victory at odds of 1.40 Quote:

For anyone who thinks Obama won by giving away "free stuff" to black people, just remember that 72% of the voting public was white.
Obama won half of the "whitest" states in the nation. Maine is 95% white and Obama won that one. |

The fucking GOP is about cutting taxes for the rich, and rolling back regulations - it's all they've been about for many decades now. Education, healthcare, the environment, civil rights, and all the other things that a normal citizen is concerned with barely gets lip service from these pricks. And America is finally wising up, it seems. :thumbsup http://littlegreenfootballs.com/webl...ublican_sm.jpg |

It is in the Constitution as everyone knows the founding fathers had a passion for flying and didn't want anything to dampen the experience. |

You show up at the airport, your luggage is screened electronically. You walk on the plane and go to your destination. Like I said before...plane hijackings and blown up airplanes happened a lot in the past. But only after 9-11 did the federal govt. make this move. Also, as I said, the TSA has NEVER found any bombs. And they probably never will. It's just an excuse to search people. |

1. Multiple negative incidents of a certain type happened in the past 2. A grandiose example of said negative incident happened on 9-11-2001. 3. The people in charge of setting policies in this country put in place policies to stop the negative incidents from happening. 4. Since those policies were put in place these particular negative incidents have ceased to happen. 5. However now Robbie and his wife spend an extra 3-5 minutes in line every 3rd, 4th or 5th time they fly. So there was a problem and the people we elect have solved it, however it cost you time. Let' be clear Robbie, it's time, not freedom. Your not free to walk on the plane with illegal substances of any kind, however you are free to fly, it's just a rule dude. Quote:
But once again your right, its that 3-5 minutes we as a society have to take to just make sure the people around us are all in the same mindset. It's as simple as that, some people just aren't and we need to police each other. :thumbsup |

Security in politics is becoming a joke though. Your importance is determined by the size of your security team and whether you have your own safe room for reviewing sensitive documents. |

From what I remember flying, they always xray'd your shit and you walked thru a metal detector. You do have to take your shoes off and stand in that big ass machine that owns you with cancer. I think any flights that will land on US soil they require all that bs shit. But if you fly in the same countrys I dont think they require a assrape. (some of the europe people could speak up) |

Today there are sealed steel doors that cannot be breached on the pilots cabin. As far as "deterrent", TSA didn't catch the shoe bomber or the underwear bomber. They've NEVER caught anybody...except for drugs. "illegal substances" Give me a fucking break. What the hell happened to you people? You all sound like my grandfather or something. Flying on a plane is supposed to be a luxury ride with good customer service. You know, the way it was designed to be. It wasn't supposed to be the gestapo searching you before they cram you on overfilled flights. lol I'm telling you that I don't feel one tiny bit "safer" (though I never felt very unsafe to begin with) with TSA agents feeling up Claudia Marie's tits at security than I would if I could simply walk out on the tarmac and board my plane. And my point about the numerous hijackings and the handful of planes that were blown up over the decades was simply to point out that the govt. is not looking for bombs by searching us at security. If they were, they would have tried this shit a long time ago. They are looking for drugs. Failed war on drugs = YOU are searched like you were a bomber. Nobody blew any planes up or hijacked any planes for a long time before 9-11. The hijackings in the past were political statements by "terrorists". The planes that were blown up in mid-air were blown up by bombs hidden in the luggage. The bomber wasn't even on board in those few cases. 9-11 was a unique circumstance that was immediately rectified by putting the steel doors on the pilots cabin. The rest of this is just an excuse to search us. Since you are coming at me hard about this, I can only assume you feel "safer" flying now. Even though they've NEVER caught even one bomb. You say it's a "deterrent". No, being willing to kill yourself (as a suicide bomber) is the deterrent. There just aren't that many of them in this world (and everyday there are less...lol). The searches did not deter or stop the shoe bomber or the underwear bomber. If somebody is actually crazy enough to kill themselves they WILL find a way to get a bomb on that plane. And I guarantee you that the TSA will be too busy staring at Claudia Marie's tits, or fumbling around my dick looking for non-existant drugs, or strip searching somebody's grandma to catch that one crazy fuck that will do it. |

Pre-911 you could take someone to the airport and walk all the way to the gate with them and say goodbye as they boarded their plane. And when you picked someone up, you met them as they walked in off the plane in the terminal. Yes, our checked luggage was searched sometimes (and I hate that because they steal anything of value). But walking through metal detectors and xray machines and being randomly frisked NEVER happened at any airport I flew out of pre-911. I lived in Miami and Ft. Lauderdale in the 1980's and flew out of both those airports many times. Starting in the 1990's the Atlanta airport was my airport as I moved to Atlanta and then South Carolina. (Atlanta is the busiest airport in the world...I think I would have noticed getting searched) As recently as 2000 I picked up Darby (formerly of Lavish Cash) at GSP airport in South Carolina when he flew in for a business meeting from California. I waited for him at the gate. I went through ZERO security to walk up to that gate and pick him up. |

@Yanks_Todd This is off-off-topic, but what's the status of Yanks Cash?

mitt romney had no strings attached sex with a black man, briefly, and at that very gas station. that is quite another thing from just feeling his droopy stenchy elderly penis up himself beside his car while pumping gas.
seriously, barack obama had the edge with the young people. bush, mccain and even clinton just not cool enough for school. policies of romney and so on before him just didn't appeal to the young people because they weren't socialist enough and too conservative. whenever you would see any of the republican candidates with children or teenagers they would be dressed like charlie churches wearing crosses around their necks and holding a holy bible. if the republicans had entered a frontrunning contender on the ticket a bit like ryan but less conservative and campaigned more about the fundamental needs of americans, not so much special interest in any way, shape or form, then he would have put up a strong fight and could have been elected president. when the special interests get recognised, it puts their necks out on the chopping block i can guarantee it. nope. maybe 2016 but knowing republicans they can never get anything right that's why i like democrat more than them. but then i don't like democrat much either really, the united states government needs more independent politicians. democrat and republican, no difference, same shit different bucket and we all suffer go fuck yourself d.c.. :321GFY |
