The 2257 documents are still necessary.

1) Redtube is not United States based site or company. Therefore 2257 does not apply.

2) Any content producer that turns over a copy of the releases is essentially giving up ownership of the content.

3) Be careful when doing business with any entity that is not located within your legal jurisdiction. Trying to seek legal remedy against someone in another nation is a game reserved for the very rich.

It should not take you too much effort or money to have a lawyer create a new contract that points to the content producer as the holder of the releases and that they should be contacted directly if there is any problem. (In the mean time Redtube would disable their account until the situation is rectified)

This is basic business and basic contact law. So unless redtube has a good reason to need a copy of those releases. I would suspect that they are being opportunists. However I welcome a response to this issue I have raised.

No, that is the email we were sending to so I don't think that was the problem. In any event, we sent you some emails so hopefully we can hear back from you soon.

If people with their content on your site can show some good traffic and sales, I will give it a try.

Hello KIKIX, so you allow us Regular WEBMASTERS to submit content from sponsors and put a link with OUR WEBMASTER Affiliate CODE?..

That would be amazing.. But I haven't seen any other TUBE allowing that so far.

They deal directly with the content OWNER or the SPONSOR OWNER...

DUDE, obviously you as a sponsot OWNER want to give the image that AFFILIATES are still alive... But you are not telling the TRUTH, be HONEST.

The affiliate business model (and Im talking about 99% of average afifliates, not BIG COMPANIES and WHALES that are only a 1% of the biz) has been destroyed during the last years. And you know it very well.

But If I buy Licensed VIDEOS, can I submit them to RedTube with my sites watermark, the domain I licensed via your digital system?

The best would be if RED TUBE allows us to add a link, because watermarks only give me part of tha traffic, not all people type in.

VenusBlogger 11-29-2012 02:00 PM

HOLLY COW, RED TUBE is the site #80 in the WORLD.. WOW.

That's 10 million UNIQUES per day in traffic..

And some people say they are a regular affiliate, lol.

REDTUBE is a massive company, thats for sure.

I hope they can do business with us, webmasters.

BTW, I see many companies are registered in HOLLAND.. Is it better to incorporate in HOLLAND than in UK? Because many people told me to incorporate with a Limited UK for my paysite.

This is wrong. They are affiliates. Affiliates can be big companies with employees. That simply makes them a "whale" affiliate.

How do you say it again?

"PIRIOD".

Personally I do not like tube sites at all. But if they play ball and bring it together as a legitimate distribution and publicity source, then so be it.

As for the affiliates and whatever or whoever the other so called « middle men » are. There are still many pornographers that still subscribe to the old philosophy of ;
  • If you are not responsible for the filming of the porn (camera man or money man)
  • If you are not the one having sex in the porn (performers)
  • If you are not directly involved in putting the porn in the punters hands (distrubtor, store owner, etc)
Then whoever you are is irrelevant and you should not be getting a paycheck from porn.

Oh and for your information. Many British pornographers setup shop in Holland in order to avoid the British Broadcast and Publication Review Boards.

redspace 11-29-2012 02:35 PM

Question for the affiliate side...

Is there a way to stop your videos from auto playing when i send traffic directly to the videos?

Thank you.

Disagree... we love our affiliates and try to support them any way possible. We recognize that the minnow today may be the whale tomorrow.

The fact simply remains that programs must deal with the reality, that has always existed, that less than 10% of active affiliates typically generate over 90% of the affiliate income.

The programs that don't balance organic, paid, and affiliate traffic efforts are the ones that typically don't last long; oftentimes, for the reason that they devote over 90% of the marketing effort at affiliates that are mostly totally unproductive.

You don`t need the 2257 documents! You are not the owner and/or producer of the content! The only thing you have to do is make a statement on your site that you are not the primary producer/owner and therefore have no 2257 documents! You could direct authorities to where they can find the document: The adres of the producer!
So for what do you need those documents?

For the very little clips that I do put on line. I put a big scrolling watermark right in the middle of the video. Fuck them, if they want the video they can pay for it. I am not giving anything away for free.

Ps. 95% of my product is still sold the old fashion way and all though I have had better years, I have also had worse.

You have no clue.

You work as an account manager... What can you really understand about building a SITE from scratch, huh? You are comfortable and dont do much work, you are a LAZY DUDE. You didn't start from ZERO, you had all served and ready when you entered on that KUEBEC Office.

BTW, Im reading very bad things about CRAK REVENUE lately, even on closed circles, I guess KARMA will hit you GUYS soon or late.

BIG TUBES are COMPANIES. Not regular affiliates. But anyone who doesn't get that, well, they dont really deserve another second of my VALUABLE time. I'm way smarter than you, "AXEL" or whatever ur name is.

You must own the domain where you use the content within the terms, conditions and type of rights bought. If everybody just uses content everywhere, studios/producers can no longer check where it is used and eventually conflict with their own sales strategy, branding and distribution network.

We do have some packs from budget suppliers who would allow such a deal.

I apologize for a mis-understanding, we do not require the actual 2257 documents but merely the contact information of the custodian of records that handles your 2257 documents.

Now that is a correct way of dealing with this.

Any producer that wants to maintain control of their films should never give anyone a copy of the actual releases

We would love to have your videos promoted on Redtube.com, but we are un able to accept videos for the mainpage that are under 3 minutes.

If you feel you would be able to upload longer videos, please contact us and we will set you up at [email protected]
