1981 VH Commodore
http://forums.justcommodores.com.au/...0-image001.jpg Was the same colour, bought it off a little old lady in '94 and it had the original tyres on it still and they were rock hard and it was like driving on ice with them on the car. |

1976 Plymouth Duster. I loved that car. There might be pics here from years ago, but I have to upload now. That car went in a straight line like hell-fire and brimstone. With drum brakes at all four wheels, the fucking thing wouldn't stop, but HEY! who gives a shit about stopping as long as you can go go go!!!???
My most insane car was a Carrol Shelby signature Dodge Omni GLH-S. Let go of the steering wheel. Floor the gas. Turn right ninety degrees instantly, and hit 60mph in under seven seconds. Fucking insane. Useless, but nuts. I wish I still had that car, but it blew up and burned to the ground. Yes, Chrysler (and poor old Carroll) really sucked ass in the '80s. And unllike (like?) most Shelbys, you can buy one today for less than the scrap metal its made out of. A fire-breathing piece of shit. It wouldn't turn, it wouldn't stop, and it wouldn't even accelerate in a straight line. Useless. |
Renault 5 for me with snow tyres when I used to live in the French Alps, one almost like this car.
Was fun going up and down on snowy roads but shit on long journeys back to England. http://img341.imageshack.us/img341/9753/renault5j.jpg |

I could borrow the family Geo Metro whenever I wanted when I was in high school, but the day I graduated I bought myself a Wrangler. Dream come true at the time.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v7...s/100_0014.jpg Here's mine, a blue Audi 80, cost me £400 & nearly £800 insurance. I bought & paid for it out of my own money at the age of 17, just a month after my birthday. I past my test within 2 weeks of my birthday after taking lots of lessons. I passed first time with the chief instructor of Bedfordshire as my examiner :helpme |

Not mine but very close. 1960 VW I bought for $200 from an old German Tool Maker that was a friend of the family. It was powder blue... I worked for a summer to make some extra cash to get it painted a metalflake green and put on the cragar mags.
Motor was stock...72mph top speed with a tailwind. http://www.bikinipage.com/gfy/1960_vdub.jpg |
'79 Ford F100 stepside - but much more customized than this one.
