Wonderful cars! The AC would drive you out, they were big, powerful and would pass anything on the road but a gas station!

I had a '73 Fury III for a few years with the 440. Put a Purple Cam in it, dual exhaust, a shift kit and low restriction mufflers. No fucking catalytic perverters on those big battlewagons and they were faster than Hell!

i still want a ss or grand national. ss's can be pretty cheap but still 8-10k if you want a nice one. its harder to find grand nationals. after i ran the first monte carlo i had into the ground (floor was gone, reverse no longer worked) i bought another one and still have that one today though its rotting away in the laneway. i let it go and am not sure if its worth it to put money into it to fix it up but i bought it with the first check i received via the internet and it has a lot of memories.

A neighbor of mine has a Monte SS in her basement which is a high mileage car but which is also in excellent overall condition. I think I can get it for $2500 or less because it hasn't been driven in about 6 yrs and will take a lot of little shit to get running again. I think I ought to buy it though.

I traded it in on a Mustang, and stuck with Getting Mustang 5.0's for a while, then moved to Eclipses, Now that I'm grown up I drive Mercedes Benz.

Fiat Panda! I had forgotten about that car. While I was living in Germany, I had a friend who drove one just like that white one. Cramped, but good for getting around (barely) and no guts at all.

Was the same colour, bought it off a little old lady in '94 and it had the original tyres on it still and they were rock hard and it was like driving on ice with them on the car.

1976 Plymouth Duster. I loved that car. There might be pics here from years ago, but I have to upload now. That car went in a straight line like hell-fire and brimstone. With drum brakes at all four wheels, the fucking thing wouldn't stop, but HEY! who gives a shit about stopping as long as you can go go go!!!???

My most insane car was a Carrol Shelby signature Dodge Omni GLH-S. Let go of the steering wheel. Floor the gas. Turn right ninety degrees instantly, and hit 60mph in under seven seconds. Fucking insane.

Useless, but nuts. I wish I still had that car, but it blew up and burned to the ground. Yes, Chrysler (and poor old Carroll) really sucked ass in the '80s. And unllike (like?) most Shelbys, you can buy one today for less than the scrap metal its made out of.

A fire-breathing piece of shit. It wouldn't turn, it wouldn't stop, and it wouldn't even accelerate in a straight line. Useless.

Renault 5 for me with snow tyres when I used to live in the French Alps, one almost like this car.
Was fun going up and down on snowy roads but shit on long journeys back to England.

Mine was a 1988 Ford Mustang GT Cobra Convertible. 5.0 of pure american made muscle car. I love that car but then Vanilla Ice started driving a white one in his Ice Ice Baby video :disgust

When you had that New Yorker station wagon, you had a rare one! There were only 1,344 nine-passengers (Folding rear seat in the trunk well) built and a mere 950 6 passengers constructed.

Me LOVES 426 wedges but today unless you realy want to spend a ton for a real one, a built up 440 does the job to the max.
