There are many actual business people and successful people and full time people registered, but I am saying that their participation has been considerably reduced, or lost, and in part that is due to the sea of immaturity and trolling and ban this guy or that guy, and other nonsense that has nothing to do with business.

While some folks like to hang out and make 20, 30, 50,000 posts, others like myself prefer to just stay low key, go get our work done, and get offline and go enjoy life. Thus the reason I have less than 2000 posts in 15 years on all boards combined. Some of us come here for business, not to hang out and otherwise waste time I could be spending enjoying life :)

Suffice it to say, I am glad I've been around this business long enough (15 years) to have most of my contacts direct, via phone, personal email, etc, and/or on private boards so there's no need to bother trying to sift through the endless nonsense here to find a business thread. I can assure you, there's a lot of business being conducted outside GFY -- always has, and always will be.

Granted, with GFY being less busy these days, the upside is that when someone does start a business thread, it's not bumped off the main page of "Fucking Around AND Program Discussion" after 10 minutes like it once was.

Incidentally, not complaining here, just stating the obvious.:2 cents:
