Sure, it's in her contract...but that doesn't prove that whoever came up with the idea for this song didn't know what was going to happen. Not that I'm saying they did, but after the Batman Shooting Lil Wayne video, we do have keep a check on these guys. :2 cents:

There's no fucking conspiracy here you fucking dumbass.

Record companies force artists to take on 2-3 commercial songs. Singles. Stuff that's catchy enough to get radio plays. Stuff that sells records at the expense of what little integrity this artist has.

They usually come in as "Demos" and the artist just sings exactly as the demo tells him/her to sing.Ester Dean writes all of Rihanna's songs that the record company forces her to take...for example. You can find most of Dean's demos for Rihanna on YouTube.

Record companies like Arista (and many others) are notoriously known for having this shit stipulated in their contracts.

The artist has no choice...if they want a deal.

That's the only thing she meant.

Moron.

i caught the horrible graham norton show a while back, but let it stay on because the top gear guys were guests. Then kesha started to perform this unbelievably bad song. She was dressed up like some sort of robot clown, the makeup looked like wall paint, with her 'singing' that crappy song like the soulless robot she was dressed up as. Just performing the steps, with her boredom ridden zombie like face. It's so fucking obvious these tools accept to do everything their boss says. It was very weird to look at a singer absolutely not enjoying the little stage play she had to do, but still did it like a braindead puppet.

It has nothing to do with making music.

ofcourse, that's the whole reason these 'artists' will do anything they are told. Comparable to whores.

There were stories about her when she had her first hit that she basically had no real musical influence or drive, but she just wanted to be famous. I guess she had tried being in a rock band and she had tried making a country album. She was willing to sing anything so long as she got paid for it.

I guess as far as jobs go traveling the world, singing and getting paid well to do it isn't bad, but she seems like just another manufactured product who doesn't believe in what she is doing.
