My payment just hit my bank account. Not sure if it was the holidays delay or what but I don't care. It came. :)

Michael O 01-05-2013 09:09 AM

We apologize for the delay for our clients getting their payouts, payouts went out on Thursday and Friday but we still have a couple that will be sent on Monday. We know this is not acceptable and we have taken steps to prevent this the next time a holiday is upon us.

Back in the day when I first started out on the boards, we did not post in competitors threads if they had issues or someone asked questions, because of respect and confidence in our own product but you seem to just spam your company every chance you get. How many of your or our competitors do you see posting here? There is a reason why. If you want to discuss it in person I will be in Vegas as well.
I got some shit I could start with our competitors in some of their threads here an on other boards but it just make you seem petty or desperate.

WE TRIED VALIANTLY TO WARN YOU GUYS BUT MANY REFUSED TO LISTEN...so mote it be

used to pop up in every zombaio thread reminding them why it is paramount and prudent to hold *excuses* and only pass monies!

Instead of taking my advice they close down our account...and closing down our processing account did not seem to help them to understand that passing excuses when you are hired and paid to pass monies is a terrible terrible most unsavory and despicable act to repeat over and over and over and over again.

ccbill never missed a payout in 8 years!

I were told we dropped you the first chance we got on a legit reason and your posting history on GFY tells why. I have a lot of respect for the guy running your program and did my best to let your program process with us after it were under new management but no luck according to management it were not worth the trouble, that should tell the story. You should stick with the content side of your website and leave the business side to those who understand it.

As I mentioned above we have changed things so this should not happen again for users not using RedPass, we know its not acceptable and as mentioned above I will be in Vegas and if you have any issues with non payment look me up and I will do my best to get it solved asap, I will be the very short haired guy with a black RedPass shirt.

You on the other hand are also very good at what you do...and that is paying people on time the money you collected from them weeks before...keep up the good work!

Sara, Some banks process and credit transfers on weekends and some don't.

It's as simple as that.

Got my December 27th payout today. Am i a gifted one also for getting it on a Saturday.

misspandora 01-05-2013 12:03 PM

What! Is this a smackdown challenge? Come on, fistfights don't solve anything.

You say you "changed things". What did you change?

Oh, and I finally got my payment. But yknow what? I really needed it Dec. 26th, when it was actually *scheduled* to arrive. I was stuck in NYC with no money in my business account and had to front personal money. NOT cool.

Give us 1 reason why we shouldnt all rush to a competitor.

lol @ calling for respect from a competitor. You don't compete with Netbilling, you are a stepping stone to them. (and a shaky one from the looks of it) They compete with you like Maytag competes with Easy Bake ovens. You are the first processor anyone needs (to drop) and they are the last.

I don't make tens of thousands per month...CCBill will still take me, right?

That's just dumb!

I use NetBilling, CC Bill, Epoch, and a few others with NATS on my affiliate tour.

But I use Zombaio on my non-affiliate tour.
Why the hell would I want to pay MORE to process when I don't have to?

It's good business to pay less for the same thing.

What paysites do you own? And which processors do you use and how many merchant accounts do you have?
I'm gonna guess NONE on all those questions.

Yet, you think you know what you're talking about? :error

You lose your bet. I use CCbill, Epoch and Netbilling now. I have used Zombaio and Segpay in the past. I am switching everything over to Netbilling because the retention is much better, since I can make multiple attempts at renewing a membership rather than just dropping a customer after the first decline to minimize transaction fees like 3rd party IPSP's do. With Netbilling I have 3 MIDs. Currently billing around 100k monthly. I am in the process of moving everything over to Netbilling. I have no issue at all with CCBill or Epoch, but 3rd party IPSP's are pretty much "bring your own website" affiliate programs and I got my own.

As far as Zombaio, I do not tolerate payout delays from anyone, ever, period. There is always something deeper going on and with affiliate programs and even credit card processing it's child's play to create a ponzi scheme even unintentionally. So if payouts are not rock solid, then most likely neither is anything else about a program.

If you are as shrewd a businessman as you claim you will probably see that Epoch's throughput beats CCBill and Zombaio and you are leaving money on the table by using them for direct signups.

But by all means continue to use them, I will continue to chuckle as I have for years now, everytime there is a post about some late payouts or other fucked up shit from Zombaio.

Hey have Beaner hit me up if he wants a walkthrough of how I made the jump from CCBill to Netbilling. It's not all sunglasses and autographs, and in fact I can't offer any insight that cant be gotten from Netbilling directly (I deal with Wendy Nelson there) but I doubt she has ever transitioned from an IPSP to a direct MID personally and I have so I may be able to help. Who knows. ICQ is 353-496-007 and my Yahoo user is pompousjohn.

It seems you have much bigger issues than to worry about NETbilling posting in these threads. Not sure when you started in the industry but I started in 1997 and NETbilling started in 1998. We surely are not badmouthing any competitors but I am an opportunist. Over the years (way before you were around too), competitors posted in iBill, Websitebilling, DMR and many other processor threads. I have a great relationship with the owners and crews from CCbill Epoch, Segpay and others (and refer merchants to them often of we cannot help), and still post in the threads occasionally if someone is not happy and looking for alternatives.

Being the largest processor in the industry for those with their own merchant accounts certainly does not make us desperate or even petty. When we see an opportunity to drive more business to our company, we take it. Don't be hurt by it. Hopefully you will heed the warnings and get things fixed.

I am happy to setup a meeting for you with one of my staff in Vegas or LA if you would like to meet with them and discuss further. I will be busy meeting with clients and potential clients myself.

Good Day, Mitch

Epoch is dead last in my cascade. But if you like 'em...feel free.

And just out of curiosity...what paysites do you own? If they are good I'd like to promote them. But you are not showing any information.

And keep on "chuckling". Zombaio has a fucked up third party ACH. I stopped using it and hopped over to their RedPass option. Not one problem since then. :)

The only reason I'm not using Netbilling on my non-affiliate tour is that I haven't been able to sit down with Mitch or anybody and get it set up. Maybe this year? :)

Let's do Vegas. I'm skipping L.A.

Since they moved that show so close to the Vegas show on the calendar I just can't do both.

I'll be around to have some drinks on the 12th at The Hard Rock, and then I'll be there every day from the 13th to the 20th.

I can already tell you exactly what I want to do. I want to set up a merchant account and use NetBilling as the gateway for the non-affiilate tour at http://claudiamarie.com/tour/

So have that paperwork ready to whip out so we can sign it and get back to drinking as quickly as possible. lol

Long ago I posted some information about a project I was working on here and it became a major troll-fest. So I focus on what makes me money and I use GFY to keep an eye on trends, keep an eye out for suitable vendors for content and other needs, help people if their needs fall within my somewhat narrow field of expertise and experience but also to blow off steam when I am drinking. (like right now)

My ICQ is 353-496-007 if you want to discuss any of my projects in person I'd be happy to help you, but it will likely be awhile before I post any URL's for public consumption. I like'em, my invite only affiliates like them, my customers like'em ok I guess, my bank account loves them like there's no tomorrow but turning the general asshole population of GFY (of which I am a proud member) loose on them is not something I am looking forward to and there are a lot of details that need to be locked down before I do that.

If you already have a tour and a program in nats that has Netbilling in its cascade then do the following:

Make sure your personal nats affiliate account is enrolled in that program

Get your affiliate link for that program but DON'T PUT IT IN THE TOUR.

Instead put http:yourlink/join in a browser and see what it resolves to. For example,

http://join.mysite.com/track/Mi4yMC4...AuMC4wLjA/join resolves to

http://join.mysite.com/signup/signup...wLjAuMC 4wLjA

Copy THAT link and put it in your tour.

The result is that if surfers arrive with an affiliate referral, they will get the signup options specific to that referral and the affiliate will be credited properly. If the surfer arrives without an affiliate referral, your affiliate account will be credited for the sale instead.

Done.

1) Your signature image is broken
2) When someone signs up through a merchant account that is handled by NetBilling, the member never goes to the NetBilling website. When someone signs up through Zombaio, they go to secure.zombaio.com, which is reflected in those Alexa stats. Since only clients use NetBilling.com, the only thing that you've proven is that NetBilling is many, many, many times more popular than Zombaio.

for some other reason i checked earlier and i believe its secure.netbilling.com that people use

also CCBill should be added to that graph, it would put things a bit in perspective

Aww shit Frank what a low down cheesy rat bastard you are to completely sour our chances of doing business with netbilling! Mother fucker that was not necessary now frank.

Correct - 99% of our merchants use our Direct API so the customer never hits NETbilling's site.
