No, not every weapon is an assault rifle.
A handgun is not an assault rifle. In fact, it's not even a rifle. A shotgun is not an assault rifle. A rifle is not an assault rifle.
A assault rifle is not used for target practice or hunting. It's only purpose is to kill humans in bulk. That's why it was designed.
