Horse meat is good and dirt cheap here in Quebec. But when it comes to red meat I prefer Bison over horse and beef.

this make zero sense to anyone else? Last I checked horse meat cost a LOT more than beef not to mention they don't carry as much meat on them and cost more to feed. Would be a complete money drain..

horses are smart so don't eat them? that's ridiculous.. pigs are far smarter and just as friendly as dogs so do you skip that as well?

I've been to Asia a lot of times. Furthermore I was born on the border of Europe and Asia, but the only horse-related thing (drink) I'm ok with is Kumis.

Never had a horse as a '' pet '' ... neither used dogs or cats to plow fields, or pull coaches for tourists, and so on ...

I did have a small cow ( always stayed small ) that I would feed the fresh grass that I just mowed ... Came to the fence every morning, type of doing a happy snort , and was waiting at the same fence when I was supposed to come home ... sounds just like a pet ....
