and that's when it the cabin caught on fire. Wasn't long after that Cops were claiming he started the fire from inside to the News stations which of course they repeated over & over. Trying to make it seem as if he was the one that started the fire and not the cops.

It was evident that they were out for blood from the very beginning, when they shot up two vehicles that did not match the suspect's vehicle.

No warning, no chance to surrender... just open fire. It's not a "mistake" that kind of shit is blatant disregard for other's lives and should carry an attempted murder charge.

Everybody, especially police officers, need to be sure of what they are doing before opening fire. You cant shoot someone and just say you "thought" it was someone else and get away with it. You cant just go on a shooting spree on every truck you see just because a suspected killer also happens to drive a truck.

Has there been much discussion about this? As you said, right from the outset the cops have been acting as though they can do anything and get away with it.

Once Dormer is dead, I really hope the cops who shot up those cars lose their jobs and get booked into prison for a few years.

The two women in the blue truck that got shot up, have a new truck being "donated" to them from an arrangement that the police chief allegedly set up for them.

I think they are going to need a new truck to carry the settlement money that they deserve. Of course there is always a chance that they could be illegal immigrants and not want to push the issue, but I hope that they do.

I think you are right about the truck, hope it has a good tow capacity to haul all that cash home safe and sound!

No matter the settlement outcome, there are huge problems in that police force (LAPD??). Better training and discipline perhaps? Whatever the case, they need to be investigated and held accountable for their wreckless behaviour.

No matter the crime *others* have committed, it does not give them the authority to yell 'yeeehaawwww' and start shooting at anything that moves.

There were reports / thought I heard that a citizen was killed by police? Any truth to this as I cannot find it right now as the news is dominated by the flaming cabin.

I was watching the news earlier when they were talking to the owner of the property; I was so hoping they would ask if they were prepared to see their place torched. It was easily called. Good riddance to trash.

so whats the latest news? in my country the cabin would be without fire in half hour, in another one or two hours they will know if there is a body and whos body it is ... why does it take so long in america?

Word is now they got it on the scanner that they trapped doner in there and purposely burned the cabin down.

They found a charred body in the cabin and believe it to be Dorner's. Chances are he's super dead right now.

I posted the link to the scanner in this topic yesterday. No need to hear rumors, it's very obvious the cops set the fire on purpose. It's recorded and on the web.

That gun fire wasn't coming from Dorner.. That was the cops shooting the fuck out of that cabin trying to kill him.
