Dorner has created a polarizing effect, but I don't mean that negatively. People are either rejoicing he was burnt to a crisp or they are turning him into a hero/martyr. The Twitter feed #Dorner is leaning toward him being a hero who was offed by the police. Some new tragic, violent story will pop up next week or the week after. Discussions and issues over how the Dorner shootout and burn were handled will be news food till a new story surfaces. How many people are still focused on Sandy Hook or other recent tragic incidents? The media has created virtual neophilia, what's new excites us and grabs our attention.... old news drifts away
