Switched to Skype but I still have my old contacts on icq so I still use it.

No it haven't. Both services sucks. I use Jabber only.

90% Skype, 5% ICQ, 5% MSN. The first year was around 80% MSN. But only german contacts. I think this is nearly completely down.

I use both, and on SKYPE i have 25 contacts and on ICQ 1039 :)
And i prefer ICQ:)

I am on skype and email daily. I open icq maybe twice a month.

I have not added somebody to icq in many years. For new contacts its skype or email.

I'm not sure why this is such a badge of honor. Use the communication method that you need to in order to talk to the person that you need to.

Some people only e-mail.

Some people only Skype.

Some people only ICQ.

Some people only telephone.

For that reason, I do them all.

I turn on ICQ perhaps once a month just to see if I've missed anything substantial... I'm almost always on Skype, though.

reading numbers like this I wonder how some people manage to have more adult business contacts on skype. Its looks like some of them are talking about general contacts as well :)

I hate ICQ, and I'm not a huge fan of Skype. I use both if I have to, but really prefer email.
