So what? Your time is so precious that you can't take a picture holding your passport that would take less than five seconds? You can't understand why they would want that? You can piss on your sister's cat and throw it at a school bus for all I care but the fact still remains that if you think coming to GFY to piss and moan about some fairly easy professional standards to meet (why? so you can kvetch with all the other unprofessional malcontents) then, yes, I think that makes you unprofessional. Look at how you titled the thread - that is just a low blow in light of saying they have great customer service... again, not too professional. Having a problem with those requirements is like complaining that you have to take a driving test to get a driver's license. |

The annoying thing about Paxum is the process for adding credit cards in your account and its more of a nightmare to add another/additional cc under the same person's name or company. It's totally ridiculous :(
|
5 days waiting is lame. but that hopefully is a sign that business is good. And they wont be following epass. Also the requirements will help limit fraud and again help prevent them from following epass so maybe it's not such a bad thing.
|
took them 2 and a half days to reject my application because i used 'black pen' instead of blue. Guess what i do not own a blue pen, only black pens. I had to go out and buy one. Ridiculous. I can live with the stupid stupid processes that paxum uses, in actual fact it would be far easier to open a normal bank account by the way, but what pisses me off is the fact that they take so long to actually review things to comply with their ridiculous rules.
If you are going to have stupid tight measures fine i guess, but at least fucking review shit within a reasonable time. how long does it take to look at 2 images and check it against data? lets be generous and say 5 minutes. but really more like 2 minutes. not long... And by the way Ruth, thanks for the lack of email reply, i guess you only respond to shit when it is on GFY. Typical. |

why cant anyone do this whole payment thing correctly and without stealing your money. payoneer is pretty good
i dunno but after the experience with epassporte, anyone who makes it difficult to deal with your own money is a huge red flag |

Jaeger ,
At the bottom of the CC auth form where you signed we clearly state that it can not be black pen. I have highlighted it for you.... http://cl.ly/NEK7/Screen%20Shot%2020...10.28%20AM.jpg Also I'll be checking today to see why it did take two and half days to review your document. |

I am still having problems with paxum and find the support not helpfull at all. I had one account that the id's had expired. I tried to reverify but each attempt was declined. I opened another account to try again. A customer a few months back sent funds to the wrong email and I am trying to get those funds in the right account or at least be able to use them.
See below. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ticket Id: #173554 | 2013-02-28 04:55:59 combine accounts alana I have an account "name" and I would like to combine this account with that other account. Is this possible because I do not want to jump through the verification process again:-) Thanks, Charles Reply Reply Quote Quote combine accounts 2013-02-28 04:55:59 paxum21 Re:combine accounts 2013-02-28 06:04:18 Dear Mr Charles, We have noticed that you have opened 2 Personal Accounts. Please note that, due to our rules and regulations, a person is allowed to hold only one Personal Account. Therefore, we kindly ask you to close 1 of your accounts and after that continue the verification process if the account that remains open is the unverified one, since accounts can not be combined, nor the documents from an account can be transferred to another one. Thank you for understanding. Best Regards. It literally took me months to get the other account verified. Or, please use the document associated with the other account and what I am attaching to verify this account and I will close the other. Thank you for any help you can give me. If I close the other account will you verify this account for me? Sending the money back is not a very good option for me. The customer already has my merchandise. You know it's me and I am verified on the other account and that is why you won't verify this account. So please help me out. If I close the other account will you verify this account for me so I can access my funds? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Sorry, for me this is disgusting customer service. The correct answer SHOULD BE: Hi, I will close your other account and verify this one. Or, please close the other account and I will verify this one. These answers are bullshit. Payoneer is much more customer friendly in my dealings with them. And if this doesnt get cleared up soon without me having to send 20 tickets or upload dozens of scanned documents I will not be accepting paxum....ever. |

This can be easily resolved. You will have just received another ticket reply from our support department with instructions. Please do what they suggest and then you can close your verified account. Once it's closed please upload your documents (the ones you used for your verified account) to your unverified account, and then your unverified account (with the funds on it) will be able to be verified. This process should only take a few minutes for you to complete, and then our verification department will finalize things. Unfortunately, for security purposes we are not able to transfer documents from one account to another account. Please feel free to hit me up directly if you require further assistance. Best, Ruth Blair :) [email protected] |
the only solution seems to be to take your money out in cash immediately, and put it under the sofa cushions. I mean im not saying anything about paxum or anything. but its easy to find yourself unable to access your account. its actually less likely to get hacked and not get your money than it is to do it the legit way for "safety reasons"

Created my Paxum account two weeks ago and just received a payment for the first time today. Went to transfer the money to my bank account and, man, what a pain. A blue pen only? Are you kidding me? I turned my place upside down trying to find one. I don't see how a blue pen is going to thwart potential criminals. On top of this headache, now I have to take a picture of myself holding my ID even though I've already submitted my ID? Ugh.
I feel really uncomfortable having to submit so much personal information to a company I'm not overly familiar with. ID, copy of recent bill, pictures, yada, yada. I don't remember having to go through any of this with PayPal and they've been successful for how many years? I'm hoping this doesn't bite me in the ass. |
I use Paxum to collect payments from sponsors and pay freelancers. So far I am OK-happy, but here is my little rant about Paxum. I am trying to be productive in my statement and don't mean to bash.
1) As an affiliate I see many sponsors pay me late as they grow. They tell me about limitations to fund their accounts by ACH as they want to avoid wire fees. They quote a daily limit of 1k$. Christ sake, raise that to 5k. What's the problem? ACH for higher amount is totally normal. 2) Freelancers suddenly ask me to not pay them by Paxum anymore. Why? Their paxum card expired. This happens often. Come on guys, send them a new card before the old expires as every bank does and deduct the cost later. 3) Waiting time. It takes 6 or 7 weeks to receive a card by mail This can easily be cut into 1 or 2 weeks worldwide. At least that is what can be expected for 50 bucks. Enough said. Cheers. |

Thanks for your input. With regards to your points: 1) EFT/ACH daily load limit for business accounts is $2.5k USD. We use a third party provider for our EFT/ACH option, and we are unable to increase the daily limit at this time. 2) Approximately 6 weeks prior to card expiration we send an automatic email requesting the client log in to his/her account and confirm their address and card renewal preferences. Inside the Paxum Account Control Panel we have a link to Card Shipping & Renewal Options (located by the Mastercard section on the Overview page). Clients can click in there to confirm they want their card to be auto-renewed, and to confirm the address on their account. Card renewals are usually printed 4-6 weeks prior to card expiration, and then shipped with enough time (usually) for the new card to arrive before the old card expires. In addition, we do not require the $44.95 annual fee to be available prior to printing and shipping the card (we print and ship the card for free), however the funds must be available in order to activate the card once it is in your hand. 3) We do not charge any fee for printing the card, nor do we charge for shipping the card standard mail. Typical delivery times for the card are 1-2 weeks into North America, and we ask International clients to allow 4-6 weeks for delivery, though often it does arrive sooner than that. We also offer express shipping for a designated fee. I'm glad to hear you are happy with our service, and we genuinely appreciate your feedback. If you have any other thoughts or suggestions regarding our service, please don't hesitate to get in touch and let us know. We value all feedback from our clients. :thumbsup |

Take everything OP said regarding ePassporte and swap it with PayPal and it still applies.
PayPal is 100x more reliable for adult transactions than Paxum is... And you risk getting your money stolen if found out with PayPal. |

Now, Paypal? No I did not give them a single ID. I gave them my social security number and verified a credit card and a bank account. I think only one of the last two was required but not both. By verify I don't mean that I had to scan the front and back of it and this other bullshit. They deposited a couple cents and then had me answer as to the amount of the deposit. Very easy and much more secure....for me. |

Honestly it does no good to bicker back and fourth regarding our security measures we have in place. We are not going to change them over gfy post. If anything we will add more security to our system as we grow bigger. We rather be safe than sorry and if that means making someone upset that they need to use a blue pen or we want a picture of them with their id for an optional service then so be it. Hope everyone has a great weekend - i got a weekend of yardwork ahead of me ;/ |
I just added a bank account to my Paxum so I can withdraw some money. Meticulously filled everything out, signed the form in blue ink, took a photo of me holding my ID, and submitted the form and photo. Was then told I need to verify my bank account by allowing Paxum to make a tiny withdrawal from my account to ensure the account is legit, went back to attempt to do this, and now can't find the bank account listed anywhere in my Paxum. The fuck? Kind of frustrating. I guess I'll give it a few days and see what happens before adding the bank account all over again.
That being said, I really appreciate Paxum's staff taking the time to reply to the posts here. That's very assuring, at least. |

Ruth, I just opened a ticket asking for our daily EFT/ACH load limit to be increased to the $2.5k as you stated here, and they replied saying it cannot be done due to your processor's impositions. Maybe they don't know we have a Business account? I'd like to get this sorted out so we can load funds faster to pay our affiliates more swiftly. |

It's entirely possible, I'll check in with support about that, thanks for letting me know. I've just sent an email to our accounting department and we'll make sure your limit is increased to $2.5k USD daily for ACH. I already have your account email from previous correspondence with you. I'll let you know once I've had confirmation of your limit increase. Thanks! |

If you'd like me to look into your EFT verification status personally please just pop me an email ([email protected]) with your account email address and I'll be happy to do so. :thumbsup |

Most of you are just idiots, if you are not happy just fucking leave it and let them do their business the way they want. I have ben with Paxum for a year and al I have to say, great services, fast support and fees are not that much if you compare to some others.
I had less trouble getting verified with paxum than with Paypal (actually I am trying to get my paypal business verified since october, yet I am still waiting) |

Forced to change password 5 times in 2 years with Paxum, while with Paypal in 11 years I've had to change it once. I will agree that Ruth is on top of it right away, but she has not got access to everything and for more detailed matters you have to go through the "Indian" ticket service that is totally worthless and will only waste your time.
|
I would add, Paxum really takes an extra mile offering this retail service consider many of you are just dumb ass motherfuckers.
And it's not an offence but truth, if you were smarter you'd find your way through without complaining like sluts. |
