The driving force behind this dreary fucking mess is the debt ceiling games the Repiggies are playing - the GOP threatening to not pay the bills they themselves have already incurred. This shit has never gone on before. There is no longer any line the teapublicans won't cross.

Obama tried to negotiate with the right with his health care plan and thanks to giving in to them, we now have a gutted half assed program that likely won't be very good.
I think Obama learned his lesson in that ordeal and over the past 4 years where the Right has again and again screamed and cried like 2 year olds having a temper tantrum. I think he has now come to the conclusion that no matter what he is willing to give it will never be enough and the right is never willing to give anything.
The Right is the real problem this country faces because they are unwilling to compromise on anything. It's like trying to deal with a bunch of religious kooks. No matter what proof you show them it's never enough because "THEY" know better. That's the exact same mentality the right has. |
